ok,so here is the pics of the rear calipers on my 06 jcw I painted.Sorry I used all the paint and tossed the can.I will stop at the store and get the info they have plenty on the shelf. Also custom made my own strut tower plates from stainless.I'll try to get a pic of that to.Oh the fun things you can make with a plasma cutter for the mini.
Took my car to the dealer to have the AC recharged. Well they managed to find the real problem, and ordered the part. They gave me a loner 09 MCS silver.
Awesome! so what was "really" wrong with it? mine seemed like it needed a charge but lately its been working great...
I put some more freon in mine (it's nice to have the tools to do stuff myself...) a weekend or two ago, and it's been cool here pretty much ever since--got to use it twice.
I can't believe how cool and moist this winter and spring have been here in the frying pan--we didn't even top 70 today (not that I'm complaining, mind you)....
Not today but over the last week. Replaced the white mirror caps with CF caps to go with the CF scoop and boot handle. Pealed the white bonnet strips off and added black 8" rally strips down the middle of the bonnet and boot.
gave "my car" a bath today, had some lady ask me how I fit in the thing 'cuz she was looking at one and thought they were too small... I'm 6'1 and can't reach the steering wheel with the seat all the way back.
Wife was out of town, had the whole day to myself, and my 2002 MCS. Started at 6am, finished at 7pm
Installed Scorpion Exhaust
Replaced both O2 Sensors
Replaced 6-speed manual trans fluid
Replaced Fuel Filter
Bled Brakes
Removed/Cleaned PS Fan assembly
Replaced Fuse 05, because of buggered PS Fan
Just gave Douglas a much needed bath. The bottle of Meguiar's ScratchX just arrived so perfect timing. I finally got rid of that dang bird crap stain on my black roof. While I was up there, I played whack-a-waterspot for an hour. Only got about 50% of them cleared up before my arms got too sore to continue (2 hrs later). ScratchX is pretty awesome though.
Is this @ me? If so, unfortunately I didn't take any before pics but since I have more waterspots to take care of tomorrow I'll take some before and after pics to share. Hopefully my camera is good enough to capture them, you can only see it at certain angles. I guess that's good but for some reason I can always see all of them.
