Dusted off the pickup and drove it. I don't know why people kept looking at us as we drove by.

I just dropped Douglas off at Omega Werks to get a clear bra installed as well as the windows tinted. After 500 miles I just couldn't take the rocks getting thrown up and into my bumper at 90 MPH anymore. I cringed each time I heard it.

@gasmini03 - dude your heavy hauler rocks! I'd be one of those people staring at you for sure.

Just removed the foam inserts behind the rear bumper in the hatch area. (thanks to someone here) I'm gonna go for a drive later to see if I can hear the exhaust any louder.

Finally nice weather...I washed Butters for the first time since I can remember...finally!

I also put 14 inches in the back seat (Two 7 inch DVD)

My daughter loves them sooo much, she doesn't want to take the other car anymore...now if she would just watch something other than Shrek

Do you have to wash the ice cream off the tires when you two are done?

We should do lunch. I'll have my MINI call your MINI

So what did I do today?

New wheels/tires mounted:

Installed a JVC KD-AVX77 El Kameleon, I just could not get my other JVC unit to work properly so I ditched the nav for a touch screen DVD.

I was amazed at how well the dash took to being waxed

Now its dusty and dirty again, gotta love Kansas and its 40+ mph winds for weeks on end.

Had my oil pan gasket replaced today.

Learned that I need to replace my header gasket, control arm bushings, and my strut mounts. Looks like I'm going to have a busy couple of months again!

The first time I had a chance to do anything to my 03 MCS... I removed the factory driving light kit. Up for sale if anyone wants them.

I gave it a break and let it chill in my garage . Its been threw so much in the past few weeks with the swap the factory aero kit to JCW aero kit, swap of the NM intake for the DoS intake, new grill badge, fully detailed yesterday and on Wed of next week 4-7, I am driving down to Philly from the NY suburbs to get the RMW tune at Helix. Can't wait for that!!!

This morning I spritzed some Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover on the nose to allow me to wipe off the bugs that the carwash down the street missed when "detailing" my car last week.

Needless to say, I'm going somewhere else next time....

Also dusted the car with my new "California Car Duster" thingie. Supposedly the duster's dust-mop is impregnated with something that makes it tack dust up instead of just swishing it around. Seems to work pretty well, and since it usually is pretty dry and dusty here (Dust is AZ's state bird--don't let anyone tell you it's the Cactus Wren ), this should save me a bunch of trips to the self-serve car wash, as well as not having a possibility of leaving water spots....

C ya,
Dutch

Installed an H-Sport competition rear sway bar (set on middle setting) and H-Sport adjustable rear lower control arms. Wow, what a difference in cornering!
