Installed some new billet pedals, a mini fini cup holder, and painted the heat shield in the rear so you can't see the sliver through my new M7 rear grilles.

Ok, so it wasn't today, it was two days ago, but I got the one-ball done. I immediately took off on a road trip to Tucson, going the very indirect route via Globe from Mesa. It runs much smoother now--with louder, but still mellow exhaust note, more of that throttle-off burble. The best thing is that it feels like it finally coughed up a hairball it's been hacking on.... It also seems to be getting noticeably better gas mileage, so the $30 I spent on it should come back relatively quickly....

Yesterday--I painted my intercooler cover.

Today--I modded the stock airbox and the cowl panel behind it to vastly increase the amount of cowl induction going on. I can't wait to take the trip back home to see how it responds. Preliminary test drive impression: seems to breathe easier, slight increase in supercharger whirr. I can't wait to take the trip back home to see how it responds. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ml#post3010548

C ya,

Managed to reset my oil change indicator light.... Also, this weekend I moved the bluetooth microphone from the passenger side to the drivers side. It was the easiest mod ever, and makes a big difference in the sound of my voice on the receiving end. Everyone is now happy they can hear me and I don't have to scream!

I like it, was a little tricky to get on but I think it came out well. Also dropped off my bro's Clubman to be painted, busy day.

Got my summer wheels out of the basement and cleaned 'em up! Don't worry - they went down there spotless. Just had to dust them.

They go on Wed. I hit a pothole or two this winter with the run flats so I'm getting a 4 wheel alignment while I'm at it - if it even needs it...

Nice work! But don't think just because you have a NA MINI your options are limited.

Thanks Albie, they should be at my door in about 2 weeks.....I'll post pics as soon as they are on.

As for today, I ordered a new grille and got a great deal on a set of aftermarket driving lamps.

Car looks great with the mods rkiller......I'm a big fan of silver.
