Just got my OBX headers installed. Sounds great with the dinan exhaust. Everyone definitely knows I'm home when I pull into the garage.

Did my 15% pulley and new brakes...

Just got done with the install of a WMW 15% pulley, new plugs new belt, new hydraulic motor mount( messy! )and new Brembo rotors and Akebono ceramic pads all around....what an adventure.Hopefully a bit less brake dust with these.

I am one of the chosen few who's pulley was put on by the guy with the Loctite..wrecked a puller and the pulley, had to cut pie wedges out of the thing with a cutoff wheel and finally got it to come off with no damage to the SC shaft. The WMW pulley goes on very easily and I got it lined up first time.Nice.

Now to go bed in the brakes and enjoy more fun!"Georgette" is an '05 MCS, Pure Silver black roof with all sorts of stuff, 47K miles and the rotors were pretty well
lipped.

Have to say the how-to's on this forum are a Godsend, and my thanks to all who've taken the time to post them. Now I have to save my luch money for bigger injectors and a tune....

I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped at NW MINI. I have a little over 5000 miles on my MINI and I wanted to be sure that they would change the oil for free at the end of May, after my one year anniversary. They said, "Yes we will." I bought a quart of oil, to top it up. It's the first oil I've added to it.

And then they asked if I wanted them to wash the car! It was dirty, so i said, Yes!

It's kind of cool, I've never had a dealer offer to wash my car!

Every time I go to MINI of Charleston, they wash my car and most times it is just for a visit. We buy a premium car... expect/demand a premium relationship.

I installed my h&r 15 mm spacers in the rear, took the 20mm ones out wheel well cutting into my tyres, for those who don't know if you run too wide of a spacer the wheel well which is a sharp metal inside of the plastic wheel arch underneath the felt will cause some damage

Holy mackerel...I thought you were a myth! welcome back!

Just look at what your innocent post has become...

Today I drove it extra hard so that I could get the maintenance countdown mileage to below 100. I called up my dealership and they won't do a scheduled maintenance until the computer says so (I knew that but I thought 300 mi away was close enough). Anyway, I've successfully gotten it to 98.

Got her back from the Mechanic from my handbrake problem. $157 for pulling up on the handbrake too hard, ouch. But both me and my mechanic were surprised at the low part cost, compared to the BMWs he's worked on.

Also washed her, and put this on.

Matt, really like those CF Bonnet stripes! REALLY LIKE!! I like the new hood scoop, too - but since I can never have a hood scoop, I have to drool over the stripes.

Finally installed my super charger pulley with my boyfriend! He got it for me a year ago for Valentine's day but it's been sitting in the box ever since. He took the initiative this Valentine's day to get the belt, removal tool, and spark plugs. Installation went fairly smoothe, still haven't fired her up because my battery is dead from leaving my headlights on a couple days ago (whoops). We're gunna go jump her in a few and go for a night cruise.

So... what'd you do to your mini today?
So you're boyfriend bought you a supercharger pulley, but not the accessories or tools to install it. That's like buying a little kid a electronic toy without buying the batteries too!

Thanks for giving credit Vypur!!!

Yesterday I snapped on my new door handle covers from AC, completing The Dread Pirate's conversion to total blackout. Later today I will add black "S" winged centercaps from AC:
