What did you do to your mini today?
just swapped out my headlight bulbs for the second time... found a good deal on some hella xenon blue h13 bulbs... swapped it out for my nokya arctic white bulbs... the nokyas were cool looking but the blue was a little much... the hellas are a nice bright white light.... definitely not a xenon blue but they look good... here some crappy pictures... the right side of the picture is the hella and the left is the nokya

Ya know that the mini emblem is going to be upside down when you use the visors right?
Began to make a straight pipe to remove the resonater.

Upside down but not be viewable from the interior, rather be right side up from my point of view.
I love that visor sticker.
I picked my checkerboard badge because it goes with my other checkerboard accessories. The red badge is a nod to my German heritage. The eagle on it reminds me of the eagle on the old German flag. Both are from gobadges.com.
Over the weekend I installed the OEM grille badge holder with the GoBadges Blackjack grille badge, the GoMINIGo third brake light pulsar the MINI foldable boot box and the MINI rubbish bag...
Well I bought the following front speakers (Infinity Reference 5030cs 5.25-Inch):

And the following rear speakers (Infinity Reference 9632cf 6x9-Inch):

Online this morning so I should have them in the next 3-5 business days.
Hoping they alone will really make the junk sound system sound much better. I will add an amp a little later, dont have the funds yet because I want to buy a really nice one, that has more power than needed so that I am pushing a clean signal and only working it to half of its power, but I will be searching for a good one on craigslist or something. I dont want to replace the stock head unit, just looks to good and I have grown out of the crazy aftermarket HU and massive bass.

Ok, so I tried out the AP. Took about 3 minutes to update the firmware and then 3-4 minutes to hook up and flash the ECU.
When I started the car, the burble of the exhaust sounded a tad bit louder. I definitely feel a more responsive and linear throttle as if in a sort of a sport mode. When you hit about 3-5000 RPM range you can really feel the car pulling harder and it pushes you back in your seat. I even hear the turbo creating a louder whine now at 4000+ RPM that I did not notice before (or maybe I was just driving more aggressively because I got the AP!) Unfortunately living in the city, the west side highway is my only area to let loose. I will have more time on the weekend to let the coop stretch its legs a bit.
Right now I'm running the canned Stage 1 92 octane tps Map. I'm getting the RMW tune next tuesday which should help up the power a bit more and finally divulge my actual whp.
I did notice the rev needle meandering up and down a bit more than usual (maybe like 1-2mm) between 6-700 rpms at idle and I can hear it too but it is subtle. Other than that I am happy but too soon to tell about the increased power. The responsive throttle took a little getting used to and I was driving a bit more jolty for the first few minutes.
After I get out there and drive more later during the week I will have more feedback for you all, Cheers.

Molly got her 3 Year Check-up Today, 2 weeks early 'cause Rasmussen MINI is being Sold and they will be closed on her actual Delivery Anniversary (April 19th). Was super pleased to find Jarrid Perry as my SA, kudos to Rasmussen for bringing back (former Tech) a stand up guy and one who knows MINIs inside & out!!
