Thanks, I just went out there and took a quick pic. I'm happy with it. I had $30,to burn but it looks nice. After I did it I was thinking.. Shhhhz there is an S badge on the trunk, 2 fenders now the grill... Too much lol. Didn't think of any of that until installed, maybe I'm just old. Motor on! Next NM torque insert and resonator delete and I'm good until my warranty expires in December! Can't wait!!!

Went on errands to 5 places, and picked out a lot of stone bits from the rear treads.

New Koni struts at 7 years

After seven years my struts got rattly so I ordered and had installed a set of Koni FSD struts, front and rear. My indie garage fellow took a few photos for me and here are the before and afters. So far (1 week and 200 miles) they are great- quiet and smooth and the handling seems undiminished, although I'll know better when I get my snow tires off.

Here's the OEM strut coming out:

Here's the Koni FSD installed:

BTW, A week after this upgrade I had my original plugs changed at only 70k miles due to cold weather starting problems, but the originals were 'fine' according to the garage.

Wow! So clean. Love it. And I feel you. I had mine in the shop for a month for new clutch and flywheel.

Added Some LED Rear Lights

Had some of these before on a past Mini... The purchaser called me last week and I enquired how the rear lights were doing. Two years later they're still working with no burnt out LEDs so... Bought some for the new Mini!

Today, I got home from eating breakfast out with the family, and I discovered that my driver side scuttles is missing on my JCW. Either it has fallen out or somebody stole it, but I am having a hard time believing it just fell out. It is the aero grill style side scuttles. I did a quick search just to look and it seems this is a common issue. I have a feeling that the body shop that repainted my car used a car wash to clean it afterwards, and it probably loosened the sides scuttles.

I blacked out all the trim on my MCS. Headlight rings, upper and lower grille trim, and taillight rings, all Plasti-dipped. After reinstallation, I gave her a quick bath.

I misread your post. First time I read it, I thought you had your oil changed at Momentum and then came home and changed your oil. Sorry, long day.

Carlisle MINI takes a early Valentine Day run .. Starting at the Historic Dillsburg Tavern and running around on some of the most fun twisty roads in Southern PA and Northern MD stopping for a late lunch in Hampstead, MD.

Loads of Fun and the weather was cooperative.

Motor on!

Gave it a major bath, wax, armor all on the tires and trims and went to Darlington to watch my son and wife take on the autocross in his Miata. Beautiful day. 70 degrees and sunny!

Before or after I broke it down? lol

As it sits with no internals, around 150-200 lbs. Around 400 lbs+ when everything was still on it.
