On the Justa Cooper, it's about the easiest oil change you can ever do. Look under car, there's the drain plug. Raise hood, there's the filter. Changing the oil on my lawn mower is a bigger PITA.

Did both today, BTW. The better-half's MINI needed an oil change, and so did the ol' Toro walk-behind.

Keep in mind I live in "pick-up truck country"

Drove a nice stretch of road on my way to work today behind 2 Mini's, felt like a scene straight out of "The Italian Job"

we got some looks and a lot of smiles...

...so fun!

2010 HzB/Clubgirl, fairly loaded, much loved!

That I can deal with. It's not my idea of great fun, but I can deal with it....

Being downwind of the cattle ranch a few miles west of me is another story.

Oh, that fresh dairy air.... Thankfully the wind doesn't usually blow from that direction!

I hear ya! We live in farm country. When we bought our house we had to sign a form saying we couldn't sue the county over "smells"!

Stinkbugs!!! aaaaagggghhhhh!

Was able to park my Mini with the sunfoofs vented at work. LOVE the fact these cars have rolling screens. It was very warm here, and the stinkbugs emerged enmasse, however none entered my Mini's inner sanctum!!

Also, my zippee shades kept the interior (all black) tolerable

2010 HzB/Clubgirl fairly loaded, much loved, so far, stinkbug free

The gf and I went to take some pictures and scout out new bike riding and hiking areas, so we took the mini for a cruise. The picture of the mini peeing on the fire hydrant got me thinking, so I took the opportunity to take some pics of my mini.

Dealing with the pics on my mac through preview and iphoto is pretty daunting, so these are the only ones I'm going to post for now.

I got the gf to jump in for some pics too. I'm gonna try to get her to dress up and pose at a later time ala the Paris Hilton/6-dollar-burger commercial.

My gf is the reason I bought my JCW. 2 weeks prior to me getting mine she traded her Chevy Colorado on a 2011 MCS. Black w/black top, black wheels, and black headlight housings. I tinted the windows for her birthday. As soon as I fell in love with hers, I had to buy one!

I see your MINI has the "girlfriend" option.

Looks like you found a good'un with a sense of humor. AZ seems a bit short of women with a sense of humor. Too close to Hollywierd, I guess. Maybe, someday, I'll find one with a sense of humor good enough to put up with a dyed-in-the-wool wiseguy from Jersey.

After seeing all the responses, this was her response:

And additionally, it was her idea to get the mini. I was looking at a 4 cylinder toyota pickup to use as a commuter, and she pointed out a ragtop mini across the street. I referred to it as 'that gay little car', and 4 hours later I was driving away in my cooper S. I love this car. I'll post up some of the other pics I took later on.

Looks great!

Might just be the way it's turned, but it looks like your left front tire needs some air.

While at work... You can see in pic 3, it was a shattered by a rock or something small. I Parked it right behind Gamestop. They have a camera on the back of the building pointing in that general direction. Lets hope it got who did it. If it did I'll ****ing burn their house down.
