Only spray the clear bit in the middle and you will be fine.

No, don't do that.

I got my car back from the glass shop now only 4/6 windows are OEM glass . (The other is the chip-prone windshield.) Now I'll just have to get my windows retinted, the last owner just had "eyebrows" all the way around. I'm gonna go as dark as legal, 25% fronts 5% rear.

I only ask because the stocke housing looks like it has reflective properties that could be diminished if they are blacked out...

Did my 15% pulley and new brakes....nice!

Finally got the new WMW pulley, belt and tensioner install done ( with a new bearing seal for the SC snout ) on my '05 MCS and got to go bed in the new front rotors and pads....Wow...you can really feel the difference the pulley makes!

I'm liking these Akebono pads too, great pedal feel and hopefully less visible dust.

The Mini grin is back, and I have to say that although it was an adventure, I'm glad I did it myself.Next weekend , the rear rotors and pads and then it's off to put some wear on the tires..

Yeah, since it is a projector type lamp, only the light and projector is needed to keep full visibility. Everything else is bling. If it were a reflector type light you would be right, but all the light you see comes out of the projector lens.

I feel your pain. I have had to replace 2 windshields myself.

bought this year's competition tires...

225/45-15 Toyo R1R - the best wet tire I've ever driven.

And showers are forecast for the next event -- evil chuckle!

Cheers,

Charlie

Nudnik and I drove to Lowe's and brought home a 17' ladder.

One of the folding and extendable Werner ones, so it *just* fit inside with the seats folded down and the passenger seat folded forward....

They have a nice rebate going on in-stock Werner stuff right now, which, along with fitting in the car, clinched the deal.

C ya,
Dutch

Did a little motoring under cloudy skies... The Kid wanted to pose with those budding swamp maples. How could I say no?

I miss maple trees. We had one in the front yard at my parents' house near Lakehurst when I was a kid. It's still there. Maybe next time I'm back there, I'll be lucky enough to be there at the right time to scoop up a handful of seeds and bring 'em to AZ and see how much water it takes to make one grow in my yard here.

C ya,
Dutch
