Ok,

so i bought a used MCS while i was in TX buying my Tundra (long story) and it had a "hitch punch" in the rear bumper cover. it was almost centered and i thought about buying a new cover and having it painted and then i thought wait a minute, i own a fab shop and build anything so i set about building a trailer hitch and cut the hole a little bigger to accomodate the receiver.

Once i had that done i needed something to tow behind it so i could use my MCS to pick up and deliver parts i mean after all if i could get 20+ MPG around town why wouldnt i right?

So what started out as a small project (nothing in my shop ever is) has snowballed into a really sweet trailer that could easily double as a track trailer. i'm even thinking about adding a tire rack, toolbox holder and vise.

so this is what i came up with so far. Ebony the shop dog not included

Took him around this week to get estimates done for a new front windscreen and getting his roof redone. Idiot roofers working on my work's building dropped some rocks on him from 3 stories high.

!!, I hope the roofer's Insurance is paying for it. They are responsible for the damage.

Mount a dog seat and give Ebony some goggles and a helmet. No one will mess with your Mini. Not really, cute pooch.

6 days of rain here in Vegas but it's supposed to be over so I cleaned the grime off my Mini. Hopefully the weather man isn't wrong.

Took a mini 400 mile road trip to go visit my mom and grandma. If it doesn't rain up here in Nor CA, I'll give her a bath tomorrow.

Watched Basil turn 1000 miles; put in it's third tank of V-Power and then washed the wheels. Plenty of brake dust in 1000 miles!

The take it to the dealer now light came on this morning (technically yesterday morning, but I'm still up), so that's what I did. I'll pick it up in the morning and find out what crapped out on it. In the mean time I'm driving a POS Hyundai rental and HATING it.
