I really like the chrome trim around the front air inlet ports. Are those OEM or aftermarket? I need a bit of bling to brighten up the front of our 13 MCS.

Finally installed the black grille trim and headlight rings. Love the look without the chrome, should've done this much sooner

I did not got them when we ordered the car but they are OEM.
I got them after the fact through ECS tuning IIRC.
The reason I got them is that I like the continuity of the front grill which was the original intent of the design, I think. Ours came with black as standard and I liked that better over the black pieces... like you said I wanted something to brighten up the car after all the black trims and strips. It was too serious for us and I wanted something "happy" and fun.

I did the same for the rear lower light trims.
Ordinarily that's part of the exterior chrome package option which would have included mirrors and possibly gas cap.

But that's not quite the small detail mod I did today though

I finally put a call in to have the rear hatch glass replaced. I'm not sure how the former owner scratched it all over the place, but it's finally drove me nuts. I removed all the exterior and interior trim and ordered all the clips and a new wiper arm. I'm way to **** to let glass installers pull interior and exerior trim.

I dig the minilite-style wheels! They have a nice old-school look to them.

I do too, but I've only found them for the Countryman and nothing for the '13 Clubman S I have.

Two days in a row! Installed the NM torque arm bushings, easier than I thought it would be, maybe 30 minutes from beginning to end.

Did you tape off the mesh part? how long of a job was this because your end result is EXACTLY what I am looking for.

I drove it hard after my son called me an *******! Very pissed off. Started to smile after 5 miles. Yes, I guess i am when telling him what to do. I bought him his first car, an Audi A-4 ('97). Some old man wrecked it and he's been pissy since October. Better than reacting badly on him. It was worth the ride.

Got my CravenSpeed dipstick today... it seemed expensive to me until I used it and WOW what a difference - I can now feel confident about my oil level. (Especially important with these N14 engines).
