What did you do to your mini today?
I did not got them when we ordered the car but they are OEM.
I got them after the fact through ECS tuning IIRC.
The reason I got them is that I like the continuity of the front grill which was the original intent of the design, I think. Ours came with black as standard and I liked that better over the black pieces... like you said I wanted something to brighten up the car after all the black trims and strips. It was too serious for us and I wanted something "happy" and fun.
I did the same for the rear lower light trims.
Ordinarily that's part of the exterior chrome package option which would have included mirrors and possibly gas cap.
But that's not quite the small detail mod I did today though
I finally put a call in to have the rear hatch glass replaced. I'm not sure how the former owner scratched it all over the place, but it's finally drove me nuts. I removed all the exterior and interior trim and ordered all the clips and a new wiper arm. I'm way to **** to let glass installers pull interior and exerior trim.
I did the same thing with mine and love the blacked out look.
I just did the inner piece, may do the rest later but previous times did it just like this with red. They have a blue as well but not sure just how dark or lite it is.
And a black if so inclined. This is the brush on kit, the spray on did not work as well in previous trys.

That looks AWESOME!! I would have never thought of that color combination but it really works. And the Rota’s just set it off! Well done!
I do too, but I've only found them for the Countryman and nothing for the '13 Clubman S I have.

Two days in a row! Installed the NM torque arm bushings, easier than I thought it would be, maybe 30 minutes from beginning to end.

Wife's 2011 , they were on my 2013 clubman , they come in black, chili red and chrome, I had mine painted kite blue and put chromes on wife's .
I think ECS , dealer had them but was a lot more.
here is part numbers, about $90 a pair , 51117255119/20
like I said I had chrome then after some ice storm damage to bumper had them paint my black ones to match car.

I drove it hard after my son called me an *******! Very pissed off. Started to smile after 5 miles. Yes, I guess i am when telling him what to do. I bought him his first car, an Audi A-4 ('97). Some old man wrecked it and he's been pissy since October. Better than reacting badly on him. It was worth the ride.
Got my CravenSpeed dipstick today... it seemed expensive to me until I used it and WOW what a difference - I can now feel confident about my oil level. (Especially important with these N14 engines).
