Extra Yaya for that! New job actually being paid something close to my worth at the university of SC. closer to the Dragon too! Can't wait!

You love your new tires, it will feel like a new car and some of the rattles will disappear but you'll get new ones that the old rattles were masking lol. What are you getting? DSW's?

What are DSW's? My mechanic is getting whatever is the right tire and brakes. He's a race car mech and loves to work on MINI's. :>) Im putting my trust in his judgement. Races GTI's and other German stuffs on the oval. He wins most of his class here. Hard to replace him out in South Carolina, but I'm sure I'll find somebody. Anyone have a suggestion out in Columbia?
BTW: who got that cool thing with the smiley face driving and shifting gears and smiling. I want that! It will be me in the Smokey Mountains soon!

I will love the quieter tire noise and smoother ride for sure. Not too worried about snow in South Carolina! At least not after being in the mid-planes in NE for the past 8 years. Ugh! I'll take humid hot most of the year over 6 months of cold crap any day! I started out in the Pacific NW. Beautiful country. It rains about the same #inches of rain as SC, but in Seattle, it just drizzles all the time. Just get it over with, rain, and then clear up is my mind-set now!
Does anyone want to buy my snow blower??? I aint moving it to SC!! :>)

Love the feel and sound of it so far - a mellow burble, no rice. Also pretty stoked to have done it myself with a little help from my old man and his lift - also glad he never sold my grandfather's pipe cutter. Much better than a sawzall.

Between last night and today... replaced the Turbo Oil Line with the Detroit Tuned one. Took me about 9 hrs start to finish. Not sure why... but I had a hell of a time getting the lower banjo bolt bolted in.

Installed custom gauge faces on speedo and tach, and added a competition sequential shift light on the steering column.

Fabricated a custom mounting bracket to fill the gap between the curved top of the steering column and the straight bottom of the shift light.

Just spent all day installing struts on my mini cooper 2004. And the front struts rub my wheel. I can't drive my car.

I don't Know why I can't post a pic right side up.

5mm spacers on the front. Now I'm golden. Time for an alignment.

Washed MINItron then used some bondo on the black trim, looks brand new:-). Changed my appointment with DT to June 2nd for my fuel filter, oil change, seafoam, and sunroof rubber gasket. Even after 67k miles, I still love it!!!

Whenever my sister sends me photos with her Iphone, they would come through upside down. I was looking at them with Windows photo viewer. I figured that maybe because she has an Iphone I should use Quick Time instead. That worked, her photos came through right side up.

But if she takes her pictures with her phone upside down, that works too!
