ordered an OS geiken LSD and OS geiken twin disk clutch.

Send the turbo manifold, turbine housing, and downpipes off to Swaintech to get a thick thermal-barrier-coating (ceramic) applied for heat management, and started prepping some pieces for getting powder coated crinkle black (for dat OEM look)

BUSTER got a wash today so I could thoroughly inspect what damaged caused by our hail storm last night.

There are about 20-25 nickel size shallow dents on the hood, 6-8 on the trunk of the same size or smaller and one in the steel trim on the driver's side door. You know, strategically placed so I have to look at it every time I get into the car.

And the Finished Product installed on my car:

I'm a little northwest of you, but we got 5 minutes of nickel sized hail yesterday...fortunately my MINi was in the garage. We did lose a 30 ft tree though...

Sorry to hear about the tree, KennyR but better the tree than your Roadster.

The hail was pingpong size and lasted for about 8 minutes. It was the longest 8 minutes of my life thus far. I was at work and could do absolutely nothing about what was transpiring outside. I hate global warming.

Ok so this is not actually a “What did you do to your MINI today?" thing, but “Harry" (my 5 years old pick the name for the MINI) depart to Georgia today from Puerto Rico and we expect to get it by next Thursday (fingers cross), a little worried but at the same time excited that the MINi is going to be with us soon on GA, here some pics back in PR when they pick it up:

Me? Why, I got my 2013 MCS back from its first service after a year of use and 7,800 miles. Loaner was a very slick 3 Series diesel. Nice car. But I much prefer my BRG Clubman.

Not today, but yesterday picked mine up from the shop (second time in three months), this time for a leaking thermostat housing and pipe that runs from the housing to the water pump. $600 there.

Running great though, to be honest it was running at identical temps before, but the leaking coolant obviously needed to be dealt with.

Last night a friend from the local club helped me install a DDM race intake into my Clubman. It sounds great! Definitely sounds better attached to the MINI than in the box on the kitchen table, where it has been for a month.

Cut a hole in my cowl, not a very clean cut hole but it does the job, can't believe the whine increase, is it louder? Or just more noticeable in the cabin?

Good God - Why would you do that? With all respect, people, please do not accomplish "modifications" that cannot be easily reversed. These little cars are way cool just the way BMW designed them. Or is that just me?

It's just you, easily reversed for around $25

I already have an appointment with my claims adjustor and my shop. Needless to say, there were many people effective by this storm in my area. Some of the spots are bad and hope that paintless dent removal will do the trick.

Me too. I shoveled about 50 inches of "global warming" off my driveway this winter.

I changed the thermostat and gasket today - at 72000 miles. It had been leaking for a while.

It looked like it had been changed before. Hmm!

Took Pepè into work & washed him up!

Lift makes it easy to clean the rim barrels and evenly apply tire shine.
