Finished blacking out the grill surround (PlastiDip), installed the rear license plate fresh from the CA DMV, and ordered the red beltline vinyl tape from OutMotoring. Didn't install the front plate, and I know I take a risk with that...
Will post a pic or two when done.

Filled it up! I got 456 miles on this last tank which is about 100 more than usual (thanks to a 200 mile trip on the interstate).

Tackleberry got new rollers. I have replaced the 17x7.5 NM Engineering RSe05 wheels (+45 offset) with a new set of 17x7 O.Z. Ultraleggera wheels (+37 offset). I am still running my BFGoodrich g-Force Comp2 215/45-17 tires. I love these tires.

More like yesterday but I used it as a guinea pig for my homemade camera stabilizer.

Just wanted to see how effective it is and will be making changes to make it smoother and have less of an up and down motion

Not bad, but id highly recommend changing angles and shots so your shadow is NOT in the shot. you can always move the car!

Nice job, VittorioS. I have to ask, who is the musical artist?

Thanks And yes, I was aware, but I decided to let it slide since it was for testing the rig. It wont happen next time for sure!

Thanks!

The artist is Kina Grannis, this particular song was remixed by Paul Dateh; you'll find most of their work on YouTube

I liked the creative license VittorioS used by leaving the shadow in the shot, maybe it just appeared one too many times. Edit, edit, edit.

For some reason, the braided stainless steel hoses were looking too over-the-top for what I have going on under the hood, so I removed one of them for now. Would have done both but I had to go to work

Also, decided to sell the DDM Works intake hood scoop that goes with the race intake system. It was rubbing against my GT Spec strut bar and another hose that I ran over my intake pipe. Sucks because I just bought it and only had it installed for 5 days :-(

I'll put it up for sale with pics tomorrow in the marketplace. It's a great piece but I'm going to part with it as I know I'm not going to use it.

I did the VGS mod to my 04. It worked out great. I now hit 1.1 (15.94psi) bar by 3400rpms. and 1.2 (17.4psi) by 6k.

Such a different feel. power hits hard now

Mods: Alta Intake (stock inlet), JCW catback, Alta 17% pulley, 1 step colder ngk plugs

60k service done yesterday: oil, air filters, spark plugs, all OEM inspections, etc. And i ended up needing a valve cover gasket and new lower control arm bushings as well. :/ . my extended warranty covered it though sans $50 deductible and taxes, so i got out of there without too much wallet damage.

Had to replace the thermostat housing today as the old one broke and was leaking coolant.

Picked up a couple cans of plastidip at home depot on lunch break. Going to hopefully have enough to do the headlight lining, gas cap. If it looks well I might be interested in doing the rear tail light lining and door handles, Depending on how long it lasts I might just buy OEM. Will do a before and after tomorrow.

Replaced all 4 brake rotors and pads with centric 125 series and EBC greenstuffs. Since it was my first time doing brakes it took quite a few hours more than it needed to, but I got it done! I expect braking quality to be similar to OEM with maybe a little more initial bite so hopefully after bedding in that will happen.

The remix by Paul Dateh is way better that the original recording by Kina Grannis. Thanks.

I bought it used, it came with the adapter. No idea what the thread pitch is but the diameter of the threaded part is much larger than the typical 10 or 12mm I've seen on shift ***** for other cars.
