Finally installed the GP2 brake ducts, had them for weeks but didn't have time to put them on. I also got pulled over for not putting on the New York State front license plate. No ticket but I have had to put the terrible looking yellow plate on the front for now. I already ordered a custom vanity plate... it couldn't get here soon enough. A peek.

Washed her at sunset, dried her in the twilight, drove her in the cool darkness along quiet streets, and when home again, covered her up and patted her bonnet.
I love this car. Two years now, and she still makes me joyful.

I fixed my broke crushed oil filter due to my idioticy of not knowing how far it sits down in the cartridge.

Today I do a 100k service on my step-mother's 06 cooper, Plugs, belt, filters, and oil change.

Next week for my cooper S, 17% pulley, belt, belt stopper, SC oil change, timing chain tensioner, new grill and a polish

No kidding! I 86'ed my stock **** because of the chrome ring being a branding iron after the car sitting in the Mordor sun all day long while I'm at work - it was either that or get oven mitts for driving!

That shift **** looks great. Too bad they don't have a green one, but a black one would work with the white lettering gone over with a green Sharpie....

Hmmmm....

Looks good, first one I have seen against any green MINI.

Do you have a wide shot?

Plasti-dipped my grill, hoodscoop, chrome rims around the headlights, and the emblem area on the scuttles.

Took it the the blood center to donate. And on the way home, got hit by a hit and runner.
So yeah, we both donated blood today.

Two weeks ago I installed a new Stratmosphere Exhaust. Today I swapped out my cracked front strut mounts. Tomorrow I install my new strut mount defenders.

Thank you for your kind words.
I'm going to a local shop tomorrow for an estimate. The closest dealer from me is about 150 miles, so I'm going have to settle with a local shop. I'll post tomorrow how much damage there is.

Do you have pictures?
Did you do it yourself or did the dealer installed them?

Sorry yes, I was talking to you. Forgot to quote it.
How difficult was it?
And if you don't mind, how big of a dent did it cause in your wallet?

It took me a long time because I didn't know what I was doing and I also spread the tear down over a few evenings. It takes patience and and paying attention. The second time I do it will take about 3 hours. For the initial time involved, if you want it done, it may pay to have a professional\dealer do it. The parts alone will set you back around $500. Sewell has a discount to the end of the month I believe and EcsTuning and others are always competitive.

Completely vacuumed the interior out, removed both front seats to do so. Also cleaned and conditioned the leather plus treated all of the interior plastics with Meguiars Natural Shine. I ran out of invisible glass so my windshield has these awesome film swirls on it.

Replaced the Power Steering Fan as it was starting to make funny noises.

I ordered one on-line for $93.00 and installed it in about 15 minutes.

Cheap insurance to keep the Power Steering Pump cooled !
