I started using Black Wow on my 2006 R53. So far I love it. The key is to have the right kind of applicator. A microfiber towel doesn't work for me. I use a dense foam pad that doesn't absorb the product but let's me rub it on evenly. Then I apply VERY small drops onto the pad (1 sesame seed size drop) and rub it in. It looks fantastic and lasts a long time.

I bought a sheet of vinyl and did it myself. Not sure if anyone sells pre-cut pieces.

Thanks . this one is in my automatic commuter I did the same for the race car . .. Photo isn't great this is a brushed alum plate notched to fit the brackets in the IC . that with the way it fits into the hood gasket and ... good to go .
The automatic engine sits higher than the 6 speed . and I did this because the new scoop actually sits a bit further "forward" than the stocker .
I will make some in ABS some in alum and others in CF to fit both ... they will be on the website soon .

Finished the clutch replacement (that was one heck of a project) and also installed a cravenspeed short shifter, nm shifter box cover, and nm torque arm insert. While I had everything apart I also repainted my upper and lower jcw grills as well as all black parts of my jcw side scuttles black.

THEN took it out for a spirited drive! Every thing worked! :-D very happy

I built a little jumpseat for my dog, so he can ride between/behind the seats of the Roadster while my fiancee is in the passenger seat. Basically, I just cut a wedge shape out of foam, sewed a cover from some scrap fabric and knotted a spare leash through the middle of it to keep him from moving around too much. I'm going to add a strap underneath the center armrest to keep it from shifting during a ride, but I took it out for a test spin without it and the friction of being jammed between the seats held it in place relatively well.

Kudzu seemed to enjoy it.

K, so it was a couple weekends ago, but shot the bonnet with black Plasti-Dip to hide all the rock chips until I can save up some $$$ to get the nose re-shot. It looks a bit like a "Zorro" mask, or maybe the fifth Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle that was left out of the cartoon and movie because his mask was black....

Also, last Thursday night, finally got and installed 380cc injectors to go with the JCW tune. Huge difference!

C ya,
Dutch

Sure thing, as soon as I make some refinements. The idea is solid, as our first test proved, but the execution definitely needs a little work.
