What kind of wax do you use? Your paint looks amazing!

I did a little under the hood cleaning. Not bad for a 10 year old New England daily driver with 112,000 miles on it ( if I do say so myself.)

Slapped on some new Bridgestone Potenzas on Saturday, and took a nice Sunday drive to test them out.

Drove the last 300 or so miles of a 800 mile weekend. Visited all New England states except RI this weekend with it only to have a small issue just 14 miles from home. MOT 2013. Very wet but very fun!

Bought and installed a new battery for it since the old one seemed to have pooped out making my MINI refuse to start this morning.

Took the long way to a short weekend getaway. Drove for 8hrs to a place 5hrs away just to take the fun roads. On the way home we made an impromptu stop at IKEA and bought some stuff my wife wasn't sure would fit in the clubbie. But it did

I installed the ALTA BOV Spring upgrade last night.
I only had time for a short test drive afterwards and I did feel a difference going from gear to gear, especially from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th.
I wish there was a way to feel the stock spring again (without re-doing all the work) to compare...

Overall a subtle change but a change for the better I believe...

One thing I DIDN'T do was go to Minis On Top, even though i was registered. Life just had other plans for me. Too bad too. I've never really been to a Mini gathering in the years I've had mine. I hope they made good use of my money.

Maybe next year I'll make it. It's like this with bicycle races and events as well. You've got to pay to resister (sometimes a couple hundred dollars) and you lose your money if you can't make it.

Very nice. That is what an engine bay should look like.

Enabled DRL's, set the doors to unlock on turning off the car and installed my old Xenons in my sons R53.

Washed it & re-applied Rain-X to the glass. OK, that doesn't sound like much of an accomplishment, but I did it it 90-degree heat + 90% humidity. Now my clothes are 100% wet!

Leave it. Its a nice accent and draws attention up from the front.

100% agree .... and i really that your grill in black changes the whole front of the car, matches the stripes nicely too!

Installed Sprint Booster V2

All I can Say is wow...

Easy Install. Took less than 10min, that's w/tucking away allremote wiring...... Discrete placement so not to stand out so much.
Test drive was impressive.
3 Modes: Off/Green (Sport)/Red (Race)
Green w/o Sport button on = Crisp throttle
Red w/o Sport button on = more responsive than stock w/Sportbutton on
Green and Red w/Sport Button on was fun as hell. Red was abit too scary for the Wifey, LOL...
Also, noticeable increase in BOV sound. Maybe due to the throttleopening quicker, not sure.
Cant wait til next Mod, Intercooler resonator delete

Laters...

Yesterday I noticed someone selling Blackline taillights (https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ck-at-wmw.html). Today I ordered a pair.

started work on fabricating a new rear engine bay shroud to make a little more room for the twincharge build. Will be re-locating the overflow and power steering tanks.

Yesterday afternoon, I made a HUGE change to my Roadster. It added at LEAST 100whp, I'd guess, based on my butt dyno. Just enormous. It's like driving a different car. On a hp per $$, nothing can beat...the Cravenspeed Silver Stubby:
