Nice. You should do the side stripes (just the black part) in the same carbon fiber. On the viper stripes have you considered putting a small red pinstripe on the sides? I think it would be a neat subtle detail since your car comes with the red bits.

I have & I will have a red stripe. I ordered the red beltline from Outmotoring to do just that. I found it to be the right width. I plan on covering the entire roof in CF vinyl & continuing the red pinstripe over the roof to the exhaust. I may also cover the rear wing in CF to keep the pattern the same. I didn't think of covering the side stripe, thank you for that suggestion. If I'm skilled enough, I'll give it a go. I purchased a rear view mirror cover which I'm covering in red vinyl as we speak. Tricky curves with this one, it's a bit of practice before I do the car. Last will be the interior bits, a mix of CF & red vinyl

Took it down to the local go-kart/ motorcycle racing track to continue bedding in my new NM Engineering slotted rotors and EBC Redstuff pads.

Ended up running a few laps, which I've never done before. Needless to say, I was very impressed with how my car corners thanks to the H-Sport rear sway bar and Continental DW's. Talk about addictive!!

Just looked this up on google-translate.. Very funny thing to say to a Ferrari. I want to memorize it incase I meet a Fiat 500 Abarth.

I do plan on making a nice fiberglass box built into one of the side moldings, but until then this will do! 12" sub with 500watt rms, powered by a 300watt amp.

Maybe check availability at the dealer to purchase a replacement set of decals set aside in case you ever need to bring the GP2 back to stock....if they are available now will probably just be limited quantities.

Who cares if the stock ugly stickers are there... When you buy a car its your car... Do what you want! Value is going down either way, why not enjoy "YOUR" car?

Wow touchy are we ?

Since I see plenty of 06 GP's out there in the hands of 2 and even third owners, I would think it would be prudent to have a set on hand when the time comes to sell....

Get up on the wrong side of the bed ( Richard ) ?

I have to agree with Dicks, those decals were ugly.

Yeah not a fan of the roof ones either, but next owner may want it stock. I get a sense they were designed last minute and only done so due to popular demand thus not a whole lot of thought went into it.

But in 5-6 yrs could be difficult to track/purchase another set, kinda like the MC40's.

Just saying, its going to depreciate either way. Nobody should mod a car for the next guy if there is one.

I hear ya. Nothing left on my MINI that's really stock either...lol

It was really difficult locating OEM decals for my buddies limited edition MC40 three years ago when it was up for sale.....majority of buyers of these type of MINI's tend to be very picky as when it comes to that sorta stuff, as was in his case.

I have my eye on a GP2 as well....Roof stripes and Kumho V700's would be coming off before taking delivery
