What did you do to your mini today?
As for what I did with mine today:
I took Nudnik for a quick vacuum and wash at the local DIY car wash, then went to Wallyworld to pick up some interior cleaning wipes and leather cleaning/protecting wipes, so I could finish the job of giving him a bath....

Added another 12V outlet in the center console, between the parking brake boot, and the rear cup holder. It's currently only on when the MINI is running (like the original one), but I'm looking for a constant 12V circuit to hook it to.

Yesterday the dealership put on a JCW exhaust on my 2010 mini cooper S convertible. the dealership broke a piece of chrome off the front of my car. so, i'm waiting for that to get put in. annoyed.

I took my first exploratory tugs at removing the stock shift **** in anticipation of replacing it (hopefully Friday). It took a little effort but was definitely not the struggle that some folks have had with this proceedure.
Also ordered a Stubby antenna from WMW.

Installed the GP Intercooler last night after work!

I must say it helps the car run smoother with this heat.
Even when I get caught in traffic or i'm at a light.
It seems to hold a smoother idle, I don't notice the feeling of the engine working as hard at a stand still...

I got my 15% super charger pulley and belt installed today, along with a replacement seal near the crank and some new freon for the air conditioning :D.
Driving before was fun, but holy crap this is amazing! I feel like I got a new car!

I bet you picked up most of those between Alabama---Mississippi---Arkansas---Texas---or Kansas...depending on the route.
Thanks!
Illuminated cigarette lighter -- $7 from O'Reilly Auto Parts ($8 at AutoZone
). It closely resembles the OEM 12v outlets. I tossed the lighter part. The OEM socket plug keeps crap from falling into it, and dresses it up when not in use.
Been pondering where I could put an additional socket for months -- glove box, secret dashboard compartment, etc.. But those would be kind of inconvenient to use while driving. I hadn't really noticed this particular location until I was cleaning the console, and saw that it looked just about the right size to hold a 12v socket underneath. It's convenient for both front and rear seat occupants too.
If you want to put one in that location too, just make sure the socket you buy will fit. There's only about 2 1/2 inches of clearance under the console there.

I got my right rear tire unscrewed at the tire shop.
I also topped off the freon with some stop-leak and dye, so that if it doesn't stay full, at least I can whip out a black light and find out where it is leaking. A/C is considerably colder now, but the true test will be to see if it stays cool enough when it's 110+ outside....
Gotta get some of that fancy 3M winder tint....
