Drivetrain 231.9WHP with new big valve head. Stock cam and ECU.
I can tell where you're going with all this...you're on a mission to disprove and discredit anything the Jesus head offers...it's written all over your forehead...

He has been at it for awhile. It just took him longer to show he was like the others.

I must admit I do resent that statement, all I'm intrested is in horsepower and making more, thats why I ask q's because I like to learn something new everyday.
Looks like I might as well go and do the gardening instead, at least I'll see some results.

Paul...you haven't got your facts straight...
What don't you understand? This was a pull done BEFORE the RMW head...Good Grief...:impatient
Kiddn aside...I have a dyno delta baseline TODAY at 196whp/157tq...sucks
Don't know if my SC is takin a vacation in Florida (I keep finding pristine yellowish oil residue in my DFIC not from motor) and/or the Unichip isn't doin squat...
Regardless, I'm looking forward to the "Heysoos Head" to cure my need for speed...
OT...I'm a God Fearing Christian so I choose to rename this hot cylinder head "Heysoos"...but for those of you who think it's ok to insult the Christians, then I say be fair and challenge you to insult the black/hispanics/women/muslims while you're at it...

I would of thought you lot would of figured out by now that I like facts and fiqures, it wouldn't taken a genius to work out that I asked the question while looking through all 54 pages of this thread so I must of seen the above

Sorry I see where you are coming from now, I know that and was asking the following but didn't explain it very well
What I meant to ask is;
You dyno'd the car pre Jesus head but had a boost leak,
did you find the boost leak?
What was it??
How did you get on with the boost leak fixed on the dyno??
Now you've got the Jesus head on, have you been to the dyno and laid down some numbers.

Still tracing all the leaks but have managed to get up to 14.5 and working...
Have you still got the old style 03 supercharger?? What psi do you think you should be seeing?? Have you logged it at differnt rpm points??
Did you use to run the nos in the old days?? who was it who was using $100 a week, was it you??

I have an old 03 SC that has shed all of it's coating...not to worry, it will soon be replaced with the Killer Cantalope!!!

I argued with myself against investing in the RMW head. In the end, could not resist the urge for instant gratification. Call me weak. Anyway, Jan offered to drive the car up to the shop and return it, same day, and it was just too much to resist. If I didn't jump at the opportunity, someone else would, so it was decision time.
Jan reported that the car has been running way too rich, by looks of the carbon buildup on pistons and in head. He's working on a tune which will benefit a car with typical mods and his head, so I'm now anxious for that.
It has MTH, but when it was programmed, I asked that timing not be advanced (CA gas here) and to just lean out the map a little. Mostly I wanted the quick drop off in revs when off throttle (fixing the rpm hang up which comes stock with the car) and reduced DSC intrusion. I did get those with the MTH, and that has made driving and shifting the car much more pleasant than prior to MTH. Now I know that ECU must be retuned to take advantage of improved breathability and lean it out a little.
From my experience, Jan is first class all the way
Car is much faster. I have no figures though. I am pleased with the decision.

Welcome to the club. So much more fun to drive now..ehh I get a huge smile every time I drive the Mini ever since I had the head installed. I too an looking forward to the tune that's being worked on that will allow my Mini to live up to it's full pontential. Glad to hear you great experience working with Jan. I just gotta say, he's one of the most stand up and do it right kinda guys I've ever met.

ooo...better get the leaky old water bed ready before he shows up soon...come join us Paul, there's room for both of ya...

We might be racing in Canada in 2008 as well for the World Street Race II.
I do want to see more of America as usually I fly in for a race then fly out again.
We (the family) might do a summer tour in 2008.
Thats what is on my car
. The "new" Magnaflow system works and sounds great with the new header.
The second system like mine was finished yesterday. RMW buys the new Magnaflow CB system then modifies them to work with the new header.
The front resonator is removed from the front of the car and then re-installed at the rear just before the merged Y. This makes room for the new High Flow cat and stainless flex joint. The connection between the cat and the header is made via a V-band connection rather then the flange and bolt type. Much better!
The new Magnaflow system is bigger in DIA then most. 2 1/2" down the center splitting into two 2 1/4" all the way to the tips.

That would be so cool but we've got a busy calander racing / shows over the next couple of months, I'm not sure if I'm going to see the good old USA at all in 2007
