With slicks and 400whp that shouldn't be a problem.
However from a roll... say 60-130 traction isn't as big of a problem and could be done on street tires.
Good lord... I never owned bikes that fast but my dad used to let me take his track prepped rsv-mille-r out all the time and I never once ever saw any one pull it. That would be impressive but id still have to see it with my own eyes to believe it.

Too bad we can't post videos of illegal activities on NAM.
yeah i guess not but i was thinking of it from the aspect of some one as serious about bikes as tuls is about mini's... there are some awefull fast turbo gixxer boys out there that have showed my ole' duc 750ss a thing or 100 in the straights. of course once the turns showed up they were struggling to keep up.

what you need to keep in mind is that any (insert expletive) with fat check book can buy a bike he is not capable of driving/riding..... many guys are used to a slight roll on and loseing everthing in sight... the idea of a Mini even hanging is pretty rattling .....
Icarus will be here Wed. No news on performance levels other than starting with a safe setup and will move to a higher performance one step at a time. In other words the correct size pulley for the job without getting too lean. It'll be good to have my boy back. Time to get the cleaning supplies all ready to go. Hope it's warm enough to wash & wax!
Yeah I think a 30k car obtaining 100k super car speed is shocking no matter what you are riding/driving.
if you look at ferrari... they ahve allways tuned thier cars to 100 HP per Liter... this is what they feel is the perfect balance.... my car was tuned to 250 HP per liter... and like a super car is light wieght... I never said I beat bikes from a dig... but I used to race bikes too... and launchin a bike is not easy... but like racing a muscle car... I just roll out nice and easy from the line when against something like that.... make them wait... so that I am doign 30 or so... heh heh... it's pretty funny

One thing you have to remember is that the ferrari's are NA. No forced induction to reach 100hp per liter. Which I do say is very nice for a production car.

the 1999-2000 civic si, and the del sol VTEC's made 100hp per liter NA. that motor has been around since the 80's... even before ferrari ever had 100hp NA
The type r integra made even more... as did the s2000 and countless other cars...

Yes I am very aware of the honda motors. I was just commenting on the manufacturer that was mentioned. And I really don't like talking about rattle traps...

then i wouldn't talk about ferraris either have you ever driven one? (i don't mean this in a condecending tone)
The pre-2000ish ferraris aren't quite what they are all cracked up to be... litterly... the flying butresses on F355s always crack... I still love them though!!!!!!!! Gosh i love those friggin cars!

and talk about Air Fuel ratio's. I understand that you can't post the dyno sheets with HP and TQ, but can you show me the A/F Graph??? Thanks!! -- Johan

hmm your post intrigues me... why do you want to see the a/f but not the power. all you will beable to tell is how good the tune is on there car? unless you know how much power they have already made and you just want to see if there is any left in it...

Agreed. The AF shows how effient the the engine runs. Dyno numbers are just numbers & numbers that don't repeat easily, if ever. Don't get me wrong the dyno is a wonderful tool. It's the numbers you get that help you get to where you want to go.
