Will the exhaust be a part of the kit, or will it be another $600+ expense? For now will take yr word that it complements the M62...

hey; when the kit is made available will there be some nice badging that comes with? would be nice . like dinan has theirs and works has theirs . why not a contest to see who comes up with the best badge. winner gets 10% off his/her kit. i'd love to cruise around with m62 on the back to put the fear of god in all the 3 series beemers. ha!

You don't need the m62 kit for that

I would want to be stealthy. No one would be able to see the 62 unlike the twincharge. So don't tell them a thing, just own'em!!!

I still don't have Icarus back from Dave yet so no dyno from me until I can run him on the same dyno that I've done all mine on. Another two weeks? And that's a guess not a promise!

I know Bob is hammering out some non-M62 related issues before he does his next run. Wants to try make sure everything has been properly addressed to get a true as possible read on things. I'm sure he'll post here shortly when he's got it all done. In the meantime the goob calls me up from DDM just to tell me he's right there with Icarus and I'm not. Ha. ha.

Nope but the day of availability gets closer every day. All in all this project has been working for less than four months. Most projects of this scale can take up to a year to roll out. Some take longer. With the progress that has been made beyond the alpha test cars and well into the beta test cars I get a sneaking suspicion that the kit will be available well before the anniversary of the project (July/Aug). How's that for a timeline? Again, patience is the name of the game at this point.

No rush in my book the longer they wait the more money I'll have to afford the accessories to go with it.

Between refining the kit for multiple applications, developing complimentary parts and figuring out the best pulley configuration(s), I am sure they have their hands full. The wait only seems so long because the development cycle has been so public so early. Patience may seem a difficult thing here, but it's in all of our best interests if we want a solid and well developed kit. Let's face it, they'd be crucified here if they put out a faulty, underdeveloped product simply to meet market demands.
