Must be summer, busy here
Washed and Hydro'd the PW.
QD'd the CR since it wasn't out in rain at all this week.
Washed and BG'd the JB, slicked the new wheels.
Black Wizardeded all the trim.
I do more before 10:00 than soldiers do all day. Wait... is that how their commercial goes ?

hahaha
sounds like a lot of work you crammed this am.
i got back from my drive (G) this am. i like this setup!
i need to get a 7mm combination wrench (ratchet type if i can find it)
this am at Sears and see if i can rid the preload on the new swaybar
endlinks. the turnbuckle is 7mm.
my ride height is not even in the front at the moment. showing about
5mm taller on the passenger side. i know it was within 1-2mm before...

went to sears and they had wat they call a 'midget mini wrench set' on
sale for $14.99.
included 4-11mm micro wrenches which were
perfect!
it almost looks like toys cause they are so small.
adjusted the endlink preload, took the G out for a test drive, afterwards
SprayOn waxed and Clarity'ed the glass, adjusted tire pressure on the
FitS and Legacy, cleaned the Legacy's interior, fixed my son's child seat
cusion, Slicked and Hydro'ed the G's wheels, dusted the G's interior.
after my break, im going to stow all the dry MF towels into its bins
and clean the G's fender.
then i think im done as far as car
things for today.

I'm surprised the National Association of Small People hasn't picketed Sears over that one.
but at least they didn't call it a impotent crowd aka, stubby or something.
lol
jk
Last time yer gonna call ME stubby. Grrrrr.
I was in an industrial accident as a child. That's my story, and I'm sticking with it.
Hell no. Somewhere between here and the UK. So it will probably come in this week while I'm in SLC.... as long as it's here by Friday so I can install for a little show on Saturday... OK....
But, I guess the good news is, these things are SOOOOO expensive and SOOOO hard to get (like ordering a MINI all over again) that I'm unlikely to see another one in my MINI neighborhood anytime soon.... Of course, I coulda just gotten a beaded seat cover or something if I just wanted unique....
looks like meguiar's is going to be 3Mer's.

probably for the better. 3M makes incredible stuff.

so our community started breaking driveways to replace some of them
that took the worst of the winter's beating. my driveway doesnt look
too bad so isnt scheduled to be replaced until probably next year or the
following year.
but the concrete dust is all over the place.
after my am drive in the MCS, i pulled right up to my garage door, opened
the door, quickly rolled my MCS inside, and shut the door immediately.

Sorry - in SLC this week slammed with work... grrrr... though I did get to do a great twisty drive yesterday through the Wasatch mountains to Park City... but in a POS rental Sebring with a base engine and no pickup and the thing corners like a Great Dane on a hardwood floor..... was REALLY wishing I had my MINI until I crossed over a pass at 9800 ft and the pavement ended.... then on the gravel I was glad I had the rental...
I saw a moose....

I saw a moose....
Just QD'd and Rain-X'd mine and put on the new SilBlade wipers. I never realized how good looking a little QDing keeps the car. I feel like I could never wash it again and it'd still look great. :P But seriously though, good stuff. My wheels are atrocious, however, from all the brake dust. Those could use a wash.

i just pictured a dane sliding down a slick floor with majorundersteer.
yah, gravel would suck big time on my MCS.

towel) every 2 drives. otherwise it just gets too dirty.
i hate itwhen the front wheels are darker than the rear.
do you have aboar's hair wheel brush? they have one with a long handle over at Griot's.
it's very handy for mesh wheels.

i just got done fine adjusting my adjustable endlinks on my G. this time i
did it right (finally!) and got my front to be dead-even in height
with zero preload.
endlinks with 2 helm joints, turn buckle withjam nuts are hard to adjust and tighten under very tight space.

my G's lowered and even under ramps it's very tight.
i cleaned my BBS CV's a moment ago. i clean it (just slick and a paper
towel) every 2 drives. otherwise it just gets too dirty.
