Must be summer, busy here
Appears you're feeling better today, ken.
I'm not sure about getting to St Louis for a BBQ, but if we all make it to MOTD next year (I already have my reservation), we should do that and have a spirited trip down the Dragon together.
We can also compare detailing jobs to see who's MINI is the cleanest and most sparkling.

Nah, I think you win as your MINI is frequently Car Show ready.
yah, i read through the stock problems thread but not much info there
as far as adjustment on the latch. people seemed to put felt or something
but that's not the way to fix this issue... for rattles yes, but mine
doesn't rattle.
seems like the latch is not fully in the locked position.

Sorry - been working
I was gonna post the glovebox fix - but Ken found it.
Not sure about removal... I can't remember if I've taken mine out before (though it seems vaguely familiar)... but my guess is that the screws are easy to access... don't have my Bentley manual here...

this morning i was called into a meeting to go to japan to align my fellow
incompetent workers.
and well, accept a large business contract
i won from my customer.
why do i have to fly 5000miles to get their butts in line when my
glove box opens over rough roads?
i have important things to
attend to here.

to do the initial wetdown and also the soap app, and the "shower" mode
to rinse.
i do the wheels in "shower" mode for both soap and rinse.
"Jet" mode is great for cleaning wheel wells and sus bits.

im still on the first one and it's handling my abuse well.
Nah. It's the cheapo nozzle. I'm not paying Griot's prices for an adjustable one... I have a similar cheapo one that works well enough. But I wanted to try out the $10 Griot's nozzle...
hahahahahaha did you know that the airport im flying to is abbreviated ***?
