Thanks for the booking numer rfhcpa... how did you get that? It was a bummer though (as expected) my VIN is not there... but that ship manifest was up before my guy got out of inspection... I was all excited for a moment.. there was one VIN that had an X instead of a 3 and then the same last 7 digits but the last two transposed.. I thought... did I write it down wrong? LOL

 

darn eenieMini it sucks being on the left coast. I think my MA is new and she is not sure whether she can find the name of my ship, but she is going to ask around at the dealership. She will email if she finds anything out. Have you talked to your MA yet about tracking the ship?

 

I've emailed him.... he usually gets back to me in a day or two after email. Could be he's waiting for actual information before responding. I'm going to call this weekend as he's usually there then.

Once my Mini was booked on Wallenius and I entered the VIn on the auto cargo menu it also gave me a booking number. Then I searched by the Booking Number and all the VINs for that shipment came up.

This didn't work until my Mini was "Loaded on Vessel". The Undine is scheduled for Southhampton on the 19th. Maybe you'll be on that.

Ok sounds good. I dont want to bother my MA too much...you know what i mean? Right now I am planning on getting it on October 16th at the earliest. I talked to a guy from July 3rd week and he said once his car was completed it took exactly 5 weeks after that till the day he could pick it up at Niello Mini is Sacramento. Initially i was told early November by Niello but i dont think they expected my car to go into production so soon and they dont want to get your hopes up.

 

One time, when I was a female vampire, I snuck aboard a ship outside of santa monica and I stole their ship manifest.

How frequent are ships going out? Is it like weekly, all mixed up, on weekends, during week only. eh?

El Jefe, I'm not sure thats the case. If I remember from reading other PW threads some cars are left behind while others are grouped. I think it might be due to destination? You being in NY will be one of the first regardless..... you can change your name to Lucky Duck! While us West Coasters will be Wally Waders...

 

While it is true that I live a 50 minute drive to the docks, do I also have to wait for the distribution center which isnt in NY?

Jefe....When your car arrives in the NY port it will go through the vehicle destribuation center and the trucked to your dealer ship. Then your dealership will prep the car for a day or so and then you can go pick it up.

Hi guys. I'm finished production and waiting at transportation center. Still not showing up on www site for shipping. Anyone knows how long that takes? My MA said another three week wait for delivery to dealer. Ship docks in Newark which is a few miles from dealer(Princeton). At least that wait won't be long.

 

I'm not showing up at the ww site either yet, still waiting at the docks for a ride. I'm glad NAM is back up though!

 

Has anybody officially got on a ship yet?
