Hey Lil Zip...

I am coming to North Carolina as well.

Unfortunately, if I am reading the WW site correctly, there is a boat departing today (Undine) but I am guessing I am not on it since I can't pull up my confirmation yet.

There are two more boats out next week 9/25 (Maersk Wind - 10 days) and 9/29 (Liberty - 15 days)....

Looks like the Patriot is halfway across the Atlantic. There is a storm named Gordon (?) a little too close Lets hope it stays clear from our MINIs!!!

According to ASKMINI mine is on a ship as of this morning, but no info on the WW site yet. Dealer said supposed to be in South Carolina around the 28th of Sept, so I'm thinking either the Elektra or the Patriot, which have both already sailed, due in the 27th and 29th respectively. Gotta find the booking numbers for those two and find out if my MINI is on them. Then again, it could be on a mystery ship too...

Has anyone seen the bill of lading for the undine?

"The bill of lading number will let you see which VIN's are on the ship with you. you may have to scroll down many pages to find yours."

When does the Undine go out?

I tracked the ship and I got freaked out seeing that it left. but no, it was the old track of it.

This is like horse racing.... Come ON Green Critter, gogogogoogoooO!! get on the SHIP!!!

The Undine left this morning and is due in New York on 9/28 I believe. You can check the VIN#'s of the MINIs on the ship by going to the cargo status website and first putting in your VIN. If your MINI is on the ship you will get a booking # to come up. Then if you track the booking number all the VINs of all the other MINIs come up. Yours would be listed among them. If you click on the voyage number the port itinerary comes up and you can see what ports the ship is going to and also a time frame for the ports. BTW- El Jefe- my MINI is a green cabrio so maybe it's next to your MINI?

Yeah, thats most likely to happen on a West Coast bound car... the thing is we can't see the cargo on the other shippers... but once our MA has the name of the ship we're on we can go from there and find it on the SailX site etc...
Mine has been at the port for a week as of today... wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

AggieMini--it sounds like our mini's might get on the same ship...hopefully Maersk Wind! I called askMINI earlier and they told me it was waiting at the port and that it might get shipped within 4-6 weeks *just about had a heart attack* and then was told only 20 days - rough estimate. I'm hoping that's a very rough estimate especially after my MA told me I should be able to pick it up mid-October, but probably earlier (she shouldn't have gotten my hopes up). Man this wait is killing me!!!

Is anyone on Elektra or the Patriot and care to divulge the bill of lading number for either of these ships? I think my MINI's been put on a secret undercover mission ship... She's in transit but not showing yet on the WW site... :impatient
Thanks!!

I dont have that info either, but you can search boats by their name.. such as "Patriot".
Try this link.

Several come up, but only one left on the 16th and is currently in the middle of the Atlantic....

Im guessing its the one my MINI is on.

Oh I hope my MINI is on the same West Coast bound as the rest of you CA'ers! But I think poor little MINI is still waiting out at the docks - mine has been at the docks for a week too.

Can you see yours? http://www.bbc.co.uk/hampshire/conte...s_webcam.shtml

The schedule from the WW site says she docks in Charleston on the 29th. NY on the 24th and Baltimore on the 27th.

Lil Zip/Heart Attack

I would have almost had a heart attack TOO! EEKK!!!

We are supposed to get our Mini in Mid Oct. as well....so if it really does take 20ish days...then our babies should be boarding SOON! MA said (approx) 10 days from Oxford to USA and then 7ish days from South Carolina to Texas to me!

Keep your eyes crossed...ooops...I mean FINGERS!

Fingers crossed for that next boat...

Question. My MCS hit Southhampton on the 14th. If I go to the WW site and track by my VIN number it tells me that my mini was loaded onto the Patriot on the 15th. I can also search by booking number and my mini's VIN displays.

I just called 1-866-ASK-MINI and was told that 1) I'm using the correct VIN 2) but, that the WW site is unrealiable and I should not count on anything displayed on that website. They aren't sure my car has even been loaded onto a ship and I should just wait and see because the WW site isn't accurate.

Has anyone else found this to be true? I was so excited to think my mini was on the Patriot bound for NY on the 24th.

Has anyone on the left coast gotten any word at all from either AskMini, the OL or their MA that their car is actually on a boat yet? It seems to this impatient person that a week on the docks is a wee bit of torture....

Also, I just wanted to take credit for the price of gas dropping like a stone. Whenever I sell a stock, the price rockets up. Since I decided to sell my 14 mpg suv to buy Basil, gas prices around here have dropped 50 cents a gallon. That was part of my justification for a car payment to the Mrs. - we will save that much just on gas!

I checked the OL last night. Flo was still sitting on the dock waiting. Just checked OL this morning. She's on a ship.

She's still not listed on the WW site yet. I'll check later and repost if I have any news. Flo is coming to Texas via S.C. WAHOOOO.....
AggieMini hope your car is on the same ship.

My MA swears he'll contact me as soon as its on a ship, that he can't tell what it WILL be on but once its on he can tell... the guy who answered my call at Ask MINI on Monday said it should load up Weds or Thurs that its usually 7-10 days to catch a ship. The voyage is 21-23 days to Port Hueneme...

I too, am feeling tortured with the fact that Moe has been sitting waiting for a boat for a full 7 days while others have arrived and loaded... Its bad enough our West Coast trip takes longer we have to wait longer to get aboard also.. wahhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm really whining today.. I want my MINI.
