Production Week 37 (September 11) Support Group
Joining the club. My mcs was built on the 11th, out to the docks on the 14th and now just waiting to get booked on a ship to the west coast. The days seem like they are getting longer and longer. At least I assume AZ. cars are going to the west coast.
It's official! I'm om Undine out of Southampton into New York sailing tomorrow per RHACPA. My dealer(Princeton MINI) is only 30 miles from port.I'm hoping for first or second week of October!Sorry El Jefe. Hope you're are sailing soon.
Congrats guys! You are the first two of our group assigned to ship!!
Anyone on West Coast who gets a ship name for us will recieve a free Starbucks! LOL
Gonna Call my MA today he hasn't returned my email and I am wanting some contact!

Mine is done since yesterday
It got trained at some point and is waiting to be shipped
I wonder how frequent the ships are and such! I also wonder if I might be on that ship that you guys are on. Cargo website does not show me on however, I guess I will try tonight to see.

My MINI just showed up this morning on the cargo tracking site. I checked last night and it wasn't listed. My car was "received at the terminal" on Sept. 16th at 11 AM.There is still hope for you. Good luck!
Hm! This is good news for me possibly! Bad news for you though Sissy as it appears yours is waiting there a good while. I wasnt given info about my car being received at a terminal or anything however. I will call tonight to see if I can get that info.
I was told that sometimes mini's kinda sit ready to be shipped out for a few days or more. I could be on the next next shipment which would suck :(

Me too.. can't tell you how many times I've typed that VIN in!!
For those of you on the M/S Undine-your baby is resting comfortably on this ship waiting for tomorrow's voyage. I hope they all get a dose of Dramamine before sailing and a nice sleep tonight. Tomorrow's a busy day for our Mini's
Hi! I've been watching and reading the posts. My MCS (Chili Red w/black top) was finished production on the 13th and made it onto the Patriot. I understand it sailed last Friday.
We are very excited.
Is anyone else on the Patriot?

There's some folk from Week 36 on the Patriot... it would be great if mine were there!
EDIT To ADD:
Just talked to my MA, Blair Robinson at East Bay MINI, and he says Moe is not on a ship. He says when its on a ship he can tell but he can't tell what ship its "going" to be on. Promised to call me as soon as he knows differently.

Go to the stickie on "how to track your MINI" Click on link to cargo and then auto cargo. You'll get a screen where you put in your VIN#. If you're booked on a boat it will tell you which one, It takes a day or two after production to make it to the port for shipping. Good luck!
P.S.- I was one of the lucky convertibles who had their VIN# changed fron a 2007# to a 2006#. I really feel badly for the people who are in limbo with a 2007 VIN#
