Production Week 37 (September 11) Support Group
One of the ghost ships has come to life
My MA, "John, the Beast of Nashville, Monk" just emailed me to tell me that Goodberry is on:
The Frisia. The Voyage # is FRI0135BSC and the bill of laden # is KKLUHAM105804.
Estimated arrival to the Charleston VPC is 10/8/06
Hope this helps all you who are lost in the Burmuda Triangle.
I haven't even tried to track this boat or know if it is the tracking program. If anyone figures out more about this boat, please let me know.

Sissy....you are just delightful....thanks for the vehicle settings.
And on the last page in the "track mini" thread there is a link to see the Port of Charleston and see info about your boat...it has the boats listed that are docked now and the ones who will dock in the next 30 days.
It's just another way to spy and kinda fun....

And for those of us on the west coast, you might be seeing the Pegasus Leader on a live web cam - go to www.pancanal.com, click on the web cams button, and the third tab ("______ bridge") shows a car carrier painted just like the Pegasus!
Of course, I can't read the letters, but....
i saw the same schedule of the maersk wind leaving southampton on 9/25 on WW site BUT i also found out something weird.:impatient i got this link from one of the posts http://www.port-of-charleston.com/vessel_schedule.asp of the port of charleston schedule, and i couldn't find any of the maersk wind scheduled to arrive on the 10/4 (as stated on the WW site) or anytime in the near future.

I might be on the same ship as you, but the info from ASK-MINI and the MA's seems to be as inaccurate as you can get. If I was twice as accurate as they are I would have been fired from my job a long time ago. My MA just told me that my Mini is on a ship that sailed on 9/24 and is due to arrive in Charleston on 10/07. He couldn't tell me what ship, the booking number, the bill of lading, just the dates. I'm not holding my breath. It wouldn't suprise me me if he called me tomorrow and said it was on the Franconia that docked today - and it wouldn't suprise me to get a call saying it wasn't on the ship that sailed on 9/24, and won't be in the US until the second week of December. I swear every time I talk to them it sounds like they are making it all up.
I'm accepting the latest news with a suspicious eye
because the Fresia is on the Port of Charleston schedule as arriving on 10/05, and there is no ship scheduled to arrive on 10/07. K-Line (operator of the Fresia) shows it leaving Southampton on 9/24 and due into Charleston on 10/04 & again on 10/12 (looks like it does a Charleston - Baltimore - Charleston thing, then heads to Bremerhaven.) I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but at this point nothing will impress or suprise me - I'm pretty burnt-out from the mis-information and synicism is running at an all time high.
i'm in transit!!!
in transit! the robot at ask-mini says that i'm in transit! whatever that means...sigh...at least it changed! since i had no clue what the heck that was, i talked to someone and at first he said "oh your mini finished on the 16th and arrived at the port of exit on the 18th and we would have no info of your car from there..." what a load of crap! then i asked him "so, what does it mean then when the robot tells me that i'm in transit?" he reluctantly said "that means that it's left the port (aka on the ship) and your dealer will take over from here" i feel like what he means is that "don't bug us no more...go bug your MA instead!!"
anyway, does anybody know what "in transit" actually means? i had been (or at least i'd been informed that way until right now) on the dock waiting a shipping vessel since the 18th and my status just changed. any info would be greatly appreciated! and congrats on the first batch of 37ers' babies hitting the US soil!

Being "in-transit" means you are on a sailing ship! I just got the upgrade from the robo-voice today myself. My MA said the ship my Mini is on actually sailed on 9/24, so it took 4 days to update (bwt, the on-line dot is still next to "Awaiting Transportation", so that hasn't updated yet.
) Call your MA and ask for dates, booking number, ship name, bill of lading; if he can't give you anything more than the dates I'll bet you have the same Moritz MA as I have! (see my previous post.)
Glad to hear you are on a ship

You have every right to call your MA and ask for the info - you are spending a lot of money with him and waiting a long time to get info. Call every day if you want updates that often! It's their job!
I'll bet you DO have the same MA as me. He said he would call me before my Mini went into production to see if I wanted to change anything - I didn't get a call (and I actually wanted to add the LSD, but didn't); and I spoke with him on Monday and he said he would call me if things changed - they changed and he didn't call me!

you called in on monday too? hahaha..that's funny...yeah we probably have the same ma or the whole dealership just works that way...yeah he also never calls me for anything either...i have to be the one calling...i hear ya!
though i must admit that they treat me much better than the other dealer, mini of dallas (and we were there twice). don't know if you checked that place out before you put in your order...i really didn't like the way they position themselves...kinda snobbish...

Ok, stupid question maybe someone can give me advice on. I currently live in Hawaii (military), but am a resident of Florida. I'm purchasing my MINI in Ohio. I'm going to register it in Florida since I'm a resident there. However, after I pick up my MINI in Ohio, I'm driving it to Iowa (where my family lives) and storing it there for the winter.
Should/can I register it in Iowa? Where are the taxes cheaper? lol... Kidding, but when do I pay the sales tax and for what state?
I'm a first time new car buyer and I know you guys are friendly...
DMV... not so much in the friendly business.
THanks!
Oh, and my MINI should be in port today or tomorrow! WooHoo!!!

Undine docked yesterday in New York for you east coast guys. My MINI was discharged at 5:08 PM yesterday which means I should be hopefully taking posession next week! MA says it take a few days for shipping down to Princeton Mini. Good luck everybody.
Congrats YD...you finally got on a boat! I'm hoping my mini is with yours. Is the Frisia a WW boat? When I typed in both the voyage # and bill of laden #, the website said there is no such thing. ?? I still haven't heard from my MA but plan on caller her first thing tomorrow.
Fresia is not a W&W ship, it is operated by K-Line. Unfortunately I have not been able to find access to tracking info through VIN or Bill of Lading on the K-Line site. They don't seem to give the public the level of visibility in into operations that W&W does. All I have been able to find is the scheduled arrival date at Charleston, which is 10/05.
