Production Week 37 (September 11) Support Group
Mine's Matt Lunetta.
Hi! My mini just came into the port of NJ. I was never able to determine what boat it was on. In my earlier post, I found my VIN# on the Patriot that left England on the 15th. Mini USA swears that mine was on a later boat but couldn't tell me which one only that I left England on the 21st. www.miniusa.com tells me that my mini is now at the distribution center.
Can any tell me how long it takes at the distribution center?
Thanks

My MA is Rob Morris at Princeton. He said he would have some more info early next week. Thanks everyone! I'll keep you updated and hopefully have some pictures next week!
My MA, "John, the Beast of Nashville, Monk" just emailed me to tell me that Goodberry is on:
The Frisia. The Voyage # is FRI0135BSC and the bill of laden # is KKLUHAM105804.
Estimated arrival to the Charleston VPC is 10/8/06
Hope this helps all you who are lost in the Burmuda Triangle.
I haven't even tried to track this boat or know if it is the tracking program. If anyone figures out more about this boat, please let me know.

YD,
My Car is on the Frisia too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yippee
On long island there are two dealers and in NYC i think one dealer. Hassel Mini of Freeport and Haberstad of Huntington.
I went with Hassel mini. I hate yuppies and thought to avoid them in a more regular place like Freeport. -side note Was a good/accurate choice!
Dennis Miniero is the Auto-Pimp-Bot
Does anyone know how to track the Frisia?
I've entered the name and call number into the sailwx.com site and it comes up empty on both.
Let me know if you figure out how to track it.
Those W&W passengers have it easy being able to search out their Mini by VIN number and track the boat across the Atlantic
. Being on the K-Line seems like an excersize of I-hope-it's-there :impatient .

It's in Albany. I just heard from my MA and he says my mini is enroute between the port of NJ and Albany. He says he expects the car to arrive this evening or tomorrow morning.
We are, to say the least, excited.

Getting closer! Its fun to begin this next phase.... got papers in the mail today from East Bay Mini.... including a signature page to release liability for not installing (no drilling) front license plates!!
PS a second paper disclosing the fact that MINIUSA and the dealership do not provide loaner cars for service visits.

Wylie,
I am told by my MA that we probably won't be able to track the K-Line ship, which is basically what we have been told by everyone else so at least we know. But I did find on their website a link to track cargo using the Bill of Landing # KKLUHAM105804. But I don't get any hits but here you go anyway: Kline cargo tracking:

Also this link is to the PDF that shows when are ship is due to port: http://www.kline.com/PCC-RoRo/pccprintsched.pdf

West coasters using the NYK line are in the same boat (pun intended
).. no way to track on the sea as the shippers don't seem to be reporting weather conditions (purpose of sailwx). We're riding on a wing and a prayer.... lucky for me and several others we're riding the "Pegasus"!

Lil' Zip,
Fresia is not a W&W ship, it is operated by K-Line. Unfortunately I have not been able to find access to tracking info through VIN or Bill of Lading on the K-Line site. They don't seem to give the public the level of visibility in into operations that W&W does. All I have been able to find is the scheduled arrival date at Charleston, which is 10/05.

Thanks for the info. I finally got a call from my dealership today.
Go Fresia Go, Full Steam ahead.....
I'm sure the Fresia knows about Hurricane Issac. By my crude calcs, it appears the Fresia will need to take evasive action.... I hope that doesn't add a bunch of days to the trip. Just as long as it doesn't sink. Hope Goodberry doesn't get sea sick and doesn't vomit all his oil and antifreeze all over the deck.

My MA said my MINI may arrive at MINI of Towson (md) by Monday, tomorrow, at the earliest..
I wont actually have her til the dealer installed options get done, which might take a week or so...
But I might have to go over to the dealership and visit.
