Very nice! I have to remember to bring my camera when I get Moe... heck I even have a "pick up Moe" shirt ready!
OK - I stopped to take a couple a pictures - they are in the gallery.
I caught myself laughing out loud while driving along the coast at lunchtime.
Hey Aggie - where are your pictures?????

HOMER! Wow.. very very pretty MINI and what a great ride to the beach! I'm going to hit Half Moon Bay ASAP....but I need a weekend day.... Moe is traveling to Placerville and Nevada City (home of Mini Mania retail so I'll be sure to stop in!) on his first "official weekend". This coming weekend is reserved for installs....
Homer,
Basil is awesome. She was definately worth the wait.
Flo and I have been on a 760-mile road trip to/from the Gulf Coast this weekend. She got a bunch of butterflies in her teeth, but other than that she was a very good girl.
Such fun.
Made it from Fort Worth to Ingleside in eight hours (stopped only for gas/lunch). Was amazed at the comfort of this little car. She's a really big car in a little car's body.

I took our 20 year old and 17 year old sons out for a short joy ride last night - what a hoot! They are starting to understand why dad has been such a nut case for the last few months!

I really can't stop grinning while motoring....
That sounds like fun - can't wait to see the photos! The only installs I did were the strut tower reinforcements and little buttons to close off the hole at the top of the strut towers. It took longer to find the torque wrench than it took to install them....

Homer... great looking Mini! And your pictures make me want to be out on the West Coast again!
quick question... for someone with little to no mechanical ability, are the M7 SRPs really as easy to install as everyone says? I've never used a torque wrench (which means I'll have to find one, too!) so I'm just feeling a bit unsure about putting them on... but they are on order. And, I forget... who sells the caps for the strut towers? I need to order those, too!
glad you are enjoying your Mini. Mine may be here this week!

I can't remember where I found the caps - check the vendor forum. Can anyone help me with the programming options? The MA and sales manager were not much help with the mind meld list, so I contacted the service department, who say that they have never heard of such list either. I would love to know what options are available - if someone could email a copy to me I would be quite appreciative!
Thanks!

I installed the SRPs too, and it is as easy and bolting on a license plate. Easier cause you don't have to squat
You really don't need a torque wrench. If you've ever changed a tire, just use about 1/3 the force here. Or just tighten it down by feel. Just remember you don't have to crank on it as hard as you can.

Basil is a character in the British comedy "Fawlty Towers", starring John Cleese as the title character Basil Fawlty. I just kinda liked the ring of it, and I'm a big fan of Mr. Cleese.... There is a scene of Basil getting out of his small British car and beating it with a tree branch when it won't start that makes me wet myself laughing....

I hope you are loving your car, it is beautifull
Moe's pics will be taken and posted today... he'll be nekkid until the weekend but he's still so purty! Driving in to work this morning I got the strange feeling Moe was female..... and all along I thought for sure he was a him..... I'll know for sure by how he wears his stripes on Saturday...
Nope..I am still pacing back and forth in the waiting room. Expected delivery to the dealership is the 28th...but I am hoping sooner.
