nice, I could just imagine my mini when I finally pick it up from the lot. I'm still about 2 weeks away from my Mini. It will be at the VDC on the 15th and have no idea when it'll get to the dealership. Impatiently waiting, hehehe.

I drove from Towson down to Old Town, Alexandria for the city's birthday celebration. I got to do a lot of cruizin' while looking for a parking spot. I would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't so worried about the heavy traffic and somebody messing up my new car.

I bought it from Tony Roles. What a great guy.
That's my name it had on it! I get her tomorrow. Kinda funny how both of us were talking about dealers having checkmates sittin on the lot, when we were both talkin about the same dealer. I met him, he was cool guy. He sounded like australian or something. My MA is Evan.

Just curious if anyone has seen a dark silver checkmate and maybe has a picture of it. Seems most are space blue (which looks great), it'll be interesting to see how mine looks and will post pics when it arrives.

That's what I would have ordered if I had not bought the one off the lot.

Official Checkmate Club

I do believe I am the only US Spec MCS Checkmate SB/S In Germany. Time to sign "Hermes" up for the Checkmate Club.

Had my baby since March and never a dull moment. Its it time for bed already ???

Good pic of her parked at an apex of one of German's premier S Curves over looking a hazy sunset atop a small village in the Eifel Region. I'll post more pics when she's clean and the weather cooperates .

Sweet pic, RudyT.

My ride has been waiting at Southampton for a week. I hope Firecracker gets a lift on MADAME BUTTERFLY on the 13th.

That is one SWEEET Checkmate. JCW Kit really adds to the appearance and the "performance" Now the only thing you need is the sunroof. Why no sunroof ?
