Cool. If you see a sb/s jcw checkmate w/ aero kit rolling around that would be me. you know when i saw your gallery, i was thinkin more federal hill area. But then i knew it was in the city somewhere, but i wouldn't be able to pinpoint it cuz there are lots of places that can look the same.

 

Update on the space cloth / leather Checkmate interior cleaning. Yes, the 303 stuff actually works. Throw out all the other cleaning formulas you were using, spraying 303 and then rubbing, and then wipe with a clean cloth actually got up a stain that started as a crumb of chocolate and via other cleaners, soon occupied 3/4 of the seat.

I gotta couple questions for you.
when you had your wheel arches painted, did you get someone to paint them for you or did you do it yourself? how well is the paint on there? it won't come off easily will it?

 

No picture, but Space Blue checkmate in Chitown (actually in suburbs). Haven't seen any other checkmates around Chicago yet. It was for my wife, but I've been doing more of the driving trying to break it in (my car is an R32). We've had it since the middle of April, and only up to about 800 miles. Anyway, we got

SB MCS w/
CW,Crono,Convenience,LSD,MFSW,iPod adapter

Kind of wishing we'd gotten JCW, as it sometimes really seems underpowered (but my car has like 80 more hp).

 

Well you can still get it put on if you decide you want it or any of the other many mods that are out there...just depends how much you value that warranty.

 

that's exactly the reason why i ordered the jcw, cuz i knew i would more than likely regret it. So i just bit the bullet, and did it.

i have seen two checkmates out on the road since i've ordered mine 2 months ago. one was sb/s and the other pw/b.
