Has anyone been able to track their Checkmate on the boat?

After departure, how long did it take to find out if your car was on the boat?

I hope my ship left today, but the car doesn't show up on the auto cargo tracker.

Didn't need it, and it was extra weight. It's ok, i like it that way. the aero kit is beautiful on this car. gives a very aggressive look. I love it

I think the aero kit adds value and a stunning yet bold look to the Checkmate. It looks like it was made for it. With the blackcomb grille. A very race like look yet with class.

Without sunroof, you can now let your imagination run wild with custom graphics on the roof. Me, I am already tring to extend the checkered theme throughout the roof.

This is true. I know there are a couple other things that i will be taking care of first before I go that route. And if I do that route, I will have to think it out exactly what I want on it.

Glad to be Checkmate

I've got a chance to just drive "motor" with my mini and it is great...some non-mini folk were walking by my car and notice the checkmate package and said how cool it looked...I am definitely glad I got the Coopster with the checkmate package...

Visited our dealer today to put down our desposit, go over things and got to drive a Cooper S. Wow I can't wait until mine arrives now!

It's scheduled to be completed on July 20th, they project delivery to me in the 3rd week of August. Meanwhile I'll continue to hold my breath and drive my wife nuts talking about it! I can't wait to post some pics!

The checkmate gets a lot of looks. I have had only compliments about it. I drive people and i see them almost break their necks as they do their double-take.

I feel almost like a celebrity when I fill up for gas at the station. I have several people come up to the car wanting to take pictures and give many compliments as to how nice the car looks. They all stare and drool. I never get tired of the attention it gets.

Soon I will be signing autographs...

Today as I was having my car tinted, there was another guy at the shop getting his porsche 911 tinted and clear bra'd. He said my car looked awesome and that he loved the way the MINI drove.

Any pics out there with a checkmate and the complete aero package? Not sure if I am going to like the black grill or not on mine. I guess I could always get it painted.

Pretty sweet...will have to sleep on it. I do love the side skirts though. I believe if you put those on you will lose the checkmate entry guards as you have to rip them off to get to the screws and such. They are attached by double sided tape...so I am thinking I could just reinstall...anyone done this?

This is correct. You do lose the checkmate door sills. i didn't realize this until i noticed i didn't have them and called my MA. He said that they are on the old side skirts. So i am going to see if I can pull them off and reapply.

Blu...make sure you keep us posted on that! They are held on with double sided tape so they may be a little of a pain coming off and may not survive. I would call the parts dept and get the part # and price and of course share with us just in case. I believe when I chatted with Morristown MINI there parts guy said it was not going to be possible to reapply on the new sills because it would be too raised. Not sure if I understand the theroy but I don't believe it!

awesome looking MINI's I'm steering clear of the aero kit. I don't like the grill. I will gwt the side skirts and all the plastic painted...still debating doing it in silver. I know I am definitely getting silver grille slats. I can't wait!!

My checkmate is pepperwhite. Spaceblue interior shots in my gallery. A very swashbuckling color mix that we are quite in love with.

Hi, our MINIs are almost identical. Good to see another Checkmate Pepperwhite, they are a true gem to the eye. Yours is the only other I have seen so far.

Excellent choice!
