Hey Bill, Thanks for keeping my unruly bunch in check!

Seems that wagsFTB and maybe Littlecajun may be joining you, they're way ahead of the rest of us in the production cycle!

Birdie33, MiniMark, and Kelisa, welcome to CWFAC!

cool guys, sometimes an idea sparks and I'll try a new format.

Got another Daily Question: Are you planning any road-trips soon after taking delivery? Sort of a celebration of newfound MINI-ness!

Yep. I live in Hampton VA and about the time I get "littleRed" I have to go to a conference in Baltimore in the first week in April. So we will have a long trip to get to know each other.

Ryephile,

You are taking this "list thing" to the next level. I thought of creating a database with all the fields,... then coping the mutiple reports to the post, but maybe next time. Be nice if MCO had a master database for us CWFxCers.

well, IF i get winnie before march 13, i'll be taking her up to Baltimore for a psyc coference.. .would be a great way to ease my nervousness of giving a presentation. But, if it doesn't come by then, the very first weekend i have her, i'll be taking her to meet my girlfriend 3 hours away... might have go to see her every weekend... 2 birds with one stone kinda thing... she'll think i'm wanting to see her but REALLY it will be to bond with winnie. there are some killer winding mountain roads near her that will be F U N!

Ryan, I like the format, but would like to see what state the MINI's are bound for (like March's format). Also my estimated production date was pushed back 1 meek to 3/21. Keep up the good work.

Hello all!
I just came across this list on mini2, and it seemed to me that we CWFAC'ers should really be informed about it:
2003 model year changes
2003 model year changes

To all new and perspective MINI owners, here are some changes that you maybe interested in:

All MINIs will come equipped with a second remote key as standard from March. This key replaces the current non-remote key.

From March 2003, all MINIs will also benefit from the addition of a brake pad wear warning light. The warning light will be situated on the main speedometer between the 'run-flat' warning light and the 'air-bag' warning light.

Steptronic steering wheel paddles will be offered as an option on all MINI One and MINI Coopers with Automatic CVT transmissions. The price of this option is £50.*

Perforated sports leather steering wheel has been added into the MINI Cooper Chili pack at no extra cost. It can also be selected as an option for MINI One (from £20). This steering wheel is now standard on MINI Cooper S.

Chrome line exterior
The content of the chrome line exterior has been extended to include:
MINI Cooper:
Two front bumper inserts one rear bumper insert £90
MINI Cooper S
Chrome line exterior is also available for the first time on MINI Cooper S and includes the radiator slats, boot handle and chromed exterior door mirror caps £60.

MINI One, MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S
New options available for all models from March are as follows:
Top tint windscreen £50
Chromed door mirror caps £40

Wood effect interior trim
This new trim completes the range of MINI interior trims. Wood effect trim will cover the facia and gear **** only - the door rings and pockets remain in silver.

Pricing realignment
From 1 March 2003 all MINI models will increase in price by £100. This is the first increase in MINI pricing since it was launched in the UK in July 2001. The new on the road prices will be as follows:

MINI Cooper £11,700
MINI Cooper S £14,600
I know some of this has been talked about before, but a lot of it is new to me. I just sent an email to my dealer about it, since this info was obviously posted by a European. Some of this stuff I really really want, and would seriously be willing to push back my build date(I know, it's blasphemous!) if it meant I could get these options...

I wonder if this means starting March '03 production, or that cars delivered starting in March? Also, don't forget all MCS's will now include full metal pedals, not just the dead-pedal
Cheers,
Ryan

someone should invent a statistical package for "waiting for.." list keepers to keep all this data straight..

I had a bigger point to this post, but i've lost it...
