I just got my production number last week from SF mini. #3713965 Mini site says production date of 3/7.

Chili red MC black roof, black bonnet stripes, sport seats, 16" performance run flats, multifunction steering wheel.

well, my 03 MC will be replacing my '92 mitsubishi galant, which if anyone wants to buy please do! which replaced my '85 chevy cavalier... FINALLY, a brand new car of my very own that's not a hand-me-down from my dad or uncle. HA!

and woooo for my mini, as she got painted today (152). speaking of which, PS is a pretty common color, but not with a PS roof, which I opted for.. wonder why...

My 84 VW Vanagon just turned 280,000. I'm downsizing. Maybe I'll keep the VW, hollow it out and make a garage for the mini.

Replacing a 95 geo tracker (tina). It will become the kid's car (if they get grades). It will share garage space with 01 Miata(lucille), 02 Cooper (yet to be named), and another drum roll please My S will be named (flo)

My MINI will be kicking out my purple '97 toyota rav4 (don't make fun of me!!!!). What's funny is that my friends are soo attached to this car(sooo much more than I am) that I haven't had the heart to tell them yet. Known only as The Licorice Mobile(???) my friends really identified me with this car for some reason. But I can't wait to get rid of it. Sure we've had some good times together, but when I'm taking turns at speeds higher than 20mph...Licorice-what?

 

I'm, uh.. replacing my red...er... pink 93 Probe GT. Working on getting it all pretty again and hopefully someone'll buy it.

Maybe my car will be built a bit sooner.. My birthday's March 13, scheduled production the 14th... happy birthday to me!

That is funny! What dealer in NY? The closest one to me is MINI of Manhattan, and well, it's in Manhattan, need I say more? But you probably feel the same way about Herb Chambers in Boston right? I'm buying from the guys over in Peabody, because they just happened to be the first place I went to check out the mini and I got a cool vibe from them. I'll probably be getting my service work done at Hassel MINI in Long Island though.
