R50/53 THE APRIL CLUB
seems like i'm the only stripped S  Had a fully loaded S but should be sold this weekend...but atleast it is staying in the family.
So in addition to what options people are getting...what aftermarket things do people have planned?
The following in a list of items I am planning on adding...in no particular order..and some may change of course.
1) Rear and Front sway bar - most likely H-Sport
2) Coilovers - Stage 2 LEDAs if Randy's review is positive (+.5" to -1.5" height adjustments)
3) Camber/Caster/Toe front toe plates(can't say the manufacturer yet)
4) Rear Control Arms - same manufacturer as the camber plates
5) Falken Azenis - 215/45ZR16
6) Volk TE37 16x7 White Wheels
7) BMP Intake
8 ) BMP Stress Bar
9) BMP Pulley
10) SuperSprint headers and cat
11) Either SuperSprint exhaust or Supertrapp
12) Nology Wires
13) Lightweight Flywheel
14) Uprated Clutch
15) BMP Cam
16) Quiafe LSD and Racelogic Traction Control(still deciding on best route here)
17) Powerflex Bushings
18) DENSO Iridium Spark Plugs
19) SAMCO Red hoses(mostly for looks so way down on the list - prolly do it same time I do the pulley and have the front end torn apart)
20) Philips Vision Plus H7 bulbs
21) Guages - prolly both BMP guage packs
22) Sparco Rev Seats
23) Sparco 4-5 point harnesses
24) Rear Roll Cage
25) Lightweight Battery
26) Uprated Brake Kit (maybe Tarox - needs to fit 16" wheels)
27) Carbon Fiber Exterior pieces(way down the list but would be cool)
I'm sure there are a few other odd and end pieces that I missed here...Too many goodies to get...so will prolly take a few years to do everything I want, but I'm sure by the time I have half the stuff on this list there will be other stuff out there that I'll look at. Want to start with the suspension stuff and tires, then engine/exhaust and wheels then the dreaming items like carbon fiber if i'm not broke by then

Looks like I've joined the March 7th production date club too! I was hoping for an earlier build date, but who isn't? I'll have to go out and find an Indie Blue pen with which to circle that date on my calendar...
Thanks Katie, again  He says he'll do it tomorrow for sure
He was sayin that there's one slot left that he kept open to order my car, I'm not sure what that means; if my "top of the list" placement got shafted to the bottom, or I'm getting a hook-up for an earlier build. Anticipation is knawing away
Today's List "movement" is way little, so if I post a listing it won't be until later.
Cheers,
Ryan

Ryan great job I really appreciate it. And Katie DSC is part of the sport package. No change in my status today. Oh well at least I don't have to wait to take a ride. The Cooper is great in the snow so far.
Have a great night all you april'ers

hey guys...
looks like i may have to "move out" of this club! since my production date from the owners lounge says 2/14, BUT i called today and they said that I'm at a 150 which means production is already underway! She even said that production was started on 1/31, which is just a few days after my order date! I'm not sure why everything moved so quickly, but I'm not complaining. I'll let you all know my progress...

First, great job keeping up the hard work Ryephile! We are all pleased you are so hard at work in this forum. Did anybody else have a change in estimated production date? The date of 3/7/03 was just put on there this week and it is already changed up a week to 2/28/03. I have a feeling that it will not stay at this date of production, but I can hope right?!
Here's a document about the MINI that CWFFC List Keeper CMKKVK sent me:
MINI Stuff
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Ryan
If anybody else has placed an order and are expecting April delivery, feel free to post here or PM me

sorry about screaming in a bit late here, but I just got my info a few days ago and then realized I'd lost my password here.. I've been here in spirit!
My production number is 3698412 with a predicted date of March 14th (happy birthday to me!). It's going to Westchester MINI in NY.
My baby is: DS/DS, all three packages, H/k, leatherette, and the auto-'dipping' mirrors (according to the owner's lounge.. I'm wondering if that refers to a built-in penchant for skinny or icecream dipping...).
Woohoo!
....and now for something a bit different, something to smooth over your day

PJ - I see you are from MN and in the april club as well. I live in southern MN. Are you part of the yahoo group and club we are in the process of forming in MN? I actually ordered my S from Patrick MINI (like my S i just sold last night to my brother).
Congrats on getting your order in, Ryan. Now we'll get to see who's Indie Blue MCS is faster off the line (the production line, that is
).
daMatta- Nice, a fellow Minnesotan in the April club! I have not heard anything about the groups you mentioned. Please PM me with further info. I live in the SW suburbs of Minneapolis. I've only seen three MINI's mororing 'round these parts. Pretty surprising, actually. Where is Patrick MINI?

Patrick MINI is in Chicago.
For info on our group please join the yahoo group at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/mpls_mini
The next meetings are the 12th and 15th of Feb. The meetings will essentially be duplicate meetings so everyone can get to atleast one. We have in the neighborhood of 100 interested members.
