Welcome Mr Cajun!!! When did the dealer tell you to expect delivery of your MINI? Just curious. Yours is probably already in production? or getting close. have you called 1866ASKMINI to see the status? That date puts you at the top of our list!

Hey Ryan, I don't know if it matters but I'm taking delivery at Mini of Peabody, in Mass. So maybe I shouldn't be in the NY listing? Kinda crappy too because I believe the car will actually reach land here, but then go up to Peabody, delaying my delivery by a few days.

Katiedidmini: Yea but you live in NY! Should I organize that list by where everyone gets their MINI?

I'm kinda surprized how far away some dealerships are from where people live

Cheers,
Ryan

I just figured the dealership is the info that matters, since it directly effects your date of delivery. I.E. because of the east coast dock location, someone who's car comes over on the same boat as mine but takes delivery in NJ or NY will probably get their car before me. So, you know, this is really where the drama and intensity of the list comes into action. It really spices things up

This list stuff turns out to be pretty complicated, eh? Don't let your brains get too scrambled Ryan you're doing a wonderfull job.

200 miles almost exactly from my house to the dealer. Nice ride though in the Cooper. I think MINIJamie (My Significant/GF) Might fly down to pick up the S though. Looks Like I am the only EB/W coming to the States Yippee!!

Great job so far Ryan. Still no status change for me. I would make a comment though. I notice very few multi function steering wheels. I would just like to say we love this option on our Cooper. The cruise is excellent and will save speeding tickets. Even the Cooper will have you running 100 before you realize it. I love cruise control and my drivers license I even use it in some of the 30 mph speed traps around here. It holds the speed even as low as 25. The radio controls are awesome as well. I think it's a 350 option and I believe it is a bargain at that. If you don't have it I would encourage you to add it before it's to late. JMHO

actually, most are getting the MFSW! I count 13, I don't think the european "chili pack" comes with it, but if you get Premium in the U.S. it comes with the MFSW.

When I was spec'ing my MCS I was kinda surprized to see that Cruise wasn't standard. Since I can't live without it, it was a "required option".

Cheers,
Ryan

Sorry forgot it was part of the #1 pkg. I don't want the Sunroof on the S so I haven't payed much attention to that pkg. I will thrash myself with a MINI wet noodle and try to pay more attention.

Am I still the only US bound april EB/W!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God it's a beautiful combo

But aren't they all

I assume you must be referring to a certain limited scope of US-bound MINIs? I have seen numerous EB/W MCSs running around here. ....Just making sure I understand you correctly.

I agree - it looks sweet - but so far I like them ALL! I haven't seen a gold in person, so the verdict is still out on that - my own pre-judgement says ICK.

It'll be April before you know it - Hang in there!

Only one in this forum/topic headed to US for April delivery. Looks like MINIHOLLAND is EB/w also but different country. I am sure there are others just they haven't joined this thread.
They are all pretty sweet. Have you seen the VR/B combo

Quite nice! I was driving along in a Non-MINI (for work) when one passed me a number of months ago.

(Notice how I have categorized vehicles: MINI or Non-MINI. This is now the only important distinction! )

You know, I just realized that I don't think I have seen a VR/B in person! Seen 3 VR/W's but no VR/B. I've seen EB/W's but never an EB/B. And never any kind of PW, which bums me out cuz if I had it's probably what I'd have on order right now. The coolest rareity I have seen in person though was a SG/SG. Never been a huge SG fan, but when its solid it looks really special.

The stat's of this club are so interesting to me. I was under suspicion that the mcs was more popular than the mc, and now this club has proved it!

hey Katie, I've seen Pepper white/black roof, it's starting to grow on me. Initially I didn't like it, mostly cuz I favor white roofs over black, but after seeing it a second time, I'm starting to really like it

I wish we could get Cosmos Black on the MCS, I probley would've gotten it! OOOH! Even better would be Carbon Black (another BMW color). It looks like really dark metallic blue

Today's question: If you could pick ANY color to put on your MINI, what would it be?

ok FINE! I'll start out first:
I would take a page from the //M5 book. LeMans Blue with Silverstone leather interior

well you see this ones a tuffy! I've always thought the mini colors weren't that great, but now that you posed this question, I honestly can't think of a color I would like to see. I like the subtlety of the pepper white coloring, but I wish it wasn't soo contrasty. That carbon color you mentioned above sounds cool.

I think my biggest complaint is in the interior selection. I'd like to see a solid cardoba biege sportseat, paired with a wood dash, on a VR/B mini with S details(white side marker lights, gas cap etc.) and no orange reflectors above the wheel. No orange anywhere! Pickey pickey pickey pickey!
