Mine took only a couple days. Once it was released and awaiting transport to the dock, I kept checking the shipping site. Eventually, I popped in my last 7 characters from my VIN and I got everything I needed to know.

Now mine is sitting waiting to be loaded. Good luck and have fun.

I just checked the shipping site and the "Waitlist" has been cleared. Katiedidmini and should be loaded on the Jingu Maru in the next day or so. Looks like the scheduled departure date changed to 3/3/02.

Ryephile, FYI..........ASKMINI is still showing me at 190, but I'm showing arrived and ready for loading on the shipping site. Experience has shown me that once the car begins it's journey to the docks, and then across the pond, ASKMINI seems to be behind in their information.

Great job with everything.......my opinion is that we can't thank you enough. Someone had to do the list, you accepted the challenge, and as a March and April member I can say you're the best. Thanks for making this so much easier on the rest of us.

Hang in there Zero and Buskas, and anyone else! It only took me about 2 days to get to be "recieved" at the So. Hampton port, and the Jingu Maru won't even be there untill the 3rd. It's cutting close, but you just might make it! Just keep checking theat cargo site, it does seem to have more info than askmini.

Rat: unfortunatly, I doubt they'll hold the boat for you Although that would be awesome! When the factory does the contrast roof, it's an added aspect of the production, so it defnitely takes longer. My guess is that the vast majority get contrast roofs, so body-color roofs kinda slip ahead (maybe?)

Strangly, the Lounge still has me "scheduled for production". I will Ask MINI in the morning.

Must be something with British workers building british racing green cars.....

BRG's hummmmmm I just checked the owners lounge and my estimated production date has been pushed back from 4/4 to 4/11..at this rate I might be able to use social secuirty (if there is any) for my car payments...

According to ASK.MINI, I'm status 190. On a train destined for the port.

When I put my Vin into the cargo tracker it shows that I've arived at the terminal, and scheduled to sail on the Undine leaving the UK on 3/1/03 and arriving in Port Hueneme on 3/20/03.

Here's hoping that I might be able to get the car early April. :smile: :smile: :smile:
