This year's event (our 10th Annual, believe it or not) will be held as follows:

1. Sunday, September 11th - Broncos play on Monday night.
2. Meetup @ 9:45 in Morrison, CO on Main St. (Tour leaves at 10)
3. Mystery Destinatiion and fun, but the theme is, of course, Oktoberfest!
4. $2 entry fee per car, payable at the start.
5. This is a TOUR, not a RALLYE or GIMMICK. No copilot is needed but of course, they are encouraged.

More? Well my name is Steve and I'm a DJ at Diamond Cabaret/ Diamond after dark. I also DJ private events, nightclubs, raves etc.

This Thursday through Sunday is Minis In The Mountains, it's Colorado's national event, and is always a blast. Registration is closed but, You can just show up and hang out with all of us, its not like we will kick you out.

Hey everyone, I've had my 2003 Mini Cooper S for a month now (Winston). It's dark silver with black leatherette interior. Has navi, HK audio, 6spd, and 17" boat anchor wheels. Already ordered a WMW pulley, alta exhaust, and alta intake, and ditched the runflats (for sale) for Conti DW summer tires. I'd like to swap the stock s-lites out for something much lighter, install better brake pads (bbk for sale anyone?), and put on a stiffer rear swaybar. As for engine mods I'm going to quit where I am now because my car is a daily driver.

Got my mini used from a nice guy out in Watkins, CO and got a great deal on it. Shopped Schomp Mini for about a month and always left unimpressed with their service or prices. I saved about $4,500 by going the Craigslist route.

As for events, you'll probably see me at high plains or autocrossing. I'd love to know when the club is doing either event.

Not going to make it up to Winter Park this weekend but hopefully I'll see some of you at an event in the future.

WHY did you get a MINI or Mini? Currently have an Altima ... which is a great car - but previous to my Altima I had a 300ZX which I loved - was a fast car. I miss having a car thats just really fun to drive and I find myself just driving no where because its fun. Test drove the Mini and had that feeling - had to get one.
WHAT part of town will you be seen in? Littleton mostly - but Denver as well
WHAT types of events would you likely be involved in? Hopefully as much as I can - cruises - track days - meets

Hi everyone. I recently bought a PW 09 Justa. I would have loved to get an S but then I would have gotten too carried away with making it faster. and I'm digging the 42 mpg in the justa.
As for MODs I'm only looking into suspension. Right now I'm looking out for some NM springs and debating shock replacement (Yellows?) also. If anyone can recommend a good mechanic in the Colo Springs area let me know.

Good to see another nice Cooper being being bought and enjoyed. If the Cooper us low miles, the NM springs with stock dampers should be fine.

I run TSW springs with stock dampers on my 07 S, fine at 36K miles.

I am taking the car in tomorrow for tint and clear bra. I am taking it to Extreme Auto Works. They are doing full hood (bonnet), full front bumper, rear bumper, headlights, fog lights, A pillars, roof and mirror caps...like I said, practically the whole car!

Just the KWv1 coil overs. I was using a set of 15x7 et24 BBS BMW wheels from an E30 with 195/50/15 Toyo R888's while in europe. It was quite fantastic actually and put me about 8:50ish BTG at the ring.



the KW's actually ride monumentally better than the stock crap.

nope, only other thing done to the car is getting rid of the "made by Tyco" side scuttles in favor of nicer ones.
