"This monthly outdoor event will feature BMW and Mini owners with specially designated parking areas and a waiver of the $5 entry fee.

A free outdoor bar, DJ, vendors and prize drawings will be a part of the festivities as we gather with our friends from the 5280 MINI Club and other car fanatics from the Denver metro area. A food vendor will be on site for anyone wishing to purchase food to munch while gazing at cars. Party starts at 5:30 – 9:00 pm."

Hello everyone! I'm new to NAM and just picked up my 011 Hot Chocolate Cooper..I'm looking to black out most (if not all) of the chrome. I'm wondering if anyone in Denver has any tips or can help me in the process!

Personal oppinion though, from what Ive seen HC looks better with the chrome. It adds flair to the brown, and brings out the sparkle. Your car.

 

Yeah...Ive been thinking that as well..I may try to just get the JCW grill and keep the rest chrome, including the grill surrounds. Though it doesn't seem I can find a black JCW grill that will fit the '011 yet..though I may be wrong about that..

 

Bought a new 2011 Mini Cooper S Hardtop (No Sunroofs) in Ice Blue from Mini of Loveland. Stock for now with Bonnet Stripes, Tinted Windows and grille badge. Plans for custom racing wheels, turbo back exhaust and a cold air intake system. My wife and I own Windstar Kennels Pet Resort. Many of our Customers belong to Mini 5280. We just sent in our application for membership and we are also registered for the upcoming JBS Drive-N-Dine and Minis in the Mountains. We're looking forward to meeting our fellow club members. Interested in Mini Motoring Events, Car Shows and Auto-Cross.

• WHY did you get a MINI or Mini? I've been looking at Minis for several years but always had the excuse that I wanted a little bit bigger car.
• WHAT part of town will you be seen in? Parker and South Aurora areas
• WHAT types of events would you likely be involved in? Weeknight and weekend events mostly, eventually some mountain rides and other roadtrip type events like the Vegas trip or MITM. Went to the recent Denver portion of MTTS when I was still an owner-to-be.

WHAT color or colors is your MINI? Light coffee/java exterior, white roof & mirrors
What options did you get on your MINI? Auto, Premium Pkg, Convenience Pkg II, Cold Weather pkg, Anthracite wheels, All-season tires, Park Distance Control, and Mini Connect (w/o Nav)
WILL you be doing modifications to your MINI or Mini? Interested, but nothing planned at this time
WHERE did you get your MINI or Mini? New? Used? New at Ralph Schomp in Littleton, CO
WHY did you get a MINI or Mini? A 4 door Mini with AWD and great iPhone integration? I'm in.
WHAT part of town will you be seen in? Just east of Downtown Denver

Picked up my highly modified 2002 MCS a couple of weeks ago. Named her Bernie, and fell in love right away. Electric Blue with a Black top, Black and Orange stripes on the bonnet boot and sides. Currently she's in the shop getting an axle rebuilt, and then off to replace the 18 inch rims.(any suggestions on rims welcome!)
I am looking forward to hooking up with some other mini owners... I want to cruise up trail ridge road with a bunch of minis! You can catch a glimpse of Bernie in Estes, or somewhere between Ft Collins and Boulder!
