P.S. i wonder who all was at the Garden of the Gods fridayish (around that day) i saw about 10 Mini coopers. I wouldnt mind joining the group to drive.

would also take advice to what to do with my mini cooper 2002 non S to make it look a little more sportier.

and not all of us are gear heads, so dont be intimidated, i myself believe in modification by sticker! i got that down pat, so if you need advice, just ask!

come by a few meetings and just talk to people, get into the scene, the info will come in time, plus, just on other forum subboards in here there is a ton of info, or people who will help if you ask specific questions.

-I have had an Xterra for the last 5 years and finally in August it started to go. So because I commute over 50 miles a day, I was looking at something smaller/more compact/better on gas mileage... and Clyde/Jude just kind of appeared that day!

WHAT part of town will you be seen in?
-Denver but commute to boulder for work

WHAT types of events would you likely be involved in?
-I'm all about meeting new people and getting involved in the rally's or volunteer events. I think a big group of people cruising is always a fun way to spend the day.

Hi everyone, I picked up my lightly used MINI last weekend and I am loving it so far. I was able to pick up a set of John Cooper Works 18" wheels yesterday and got them mounted up and I absolutely love how they look and drive. The car is plain jane right and I plan to get the windows tinted and find some stripes to put on so if anyone has some input on the best place to get those it would be appreciated! I would like to get a set that go on the hood, roof and hatch since the roof is body colored I think it would look really nice. The car needs a good waxing, I think the previous owner ran it through an automated car wash almost daily as the paint has a ton of swirl marks in it. So now I have become obsessed with finding accessories and add-ons. Here are some pics of how it looks with the new wheels and after it got a real car wash...

Saw that on the event calendar, I don't think I will make it this time as I have a ton of work and some family coming to town on Wednesday so I will catch up with everyone the next time. Are the meetings usually up north or do they move around the city?

The meetings do move around the city from north to south and are usually the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

Well I didn't win based on the most votes...but it'd be great to have MINI supporters there when they do announce the winner. Schomp MINI's Facebook page said how about starting at noon tomorrow Sat 1/15.
