Back in Colorado

Hi,

My name is Tony and we have just moved back to CO after being out of state for a few years.
We have two Minis a 2003 R 50 & 2011 R60.
The R50 was ordered in SoCal(2002) and the R60 in Portland OR.
We love them both.
R50 is VR and the countryman is cosmic blue and white.
We live around 104th and the 36.

Foco mini

Hey all, I am located up in Fort Collins, and will try to come down for a few events if I can. I picked up my silver, '05 mini (MCS) on Thursday (14SEP). I got the mini because it balanced the speed of my forester, but the fun factor of my old integra. It has most goodies already done to it, so I just will be enjoying driving it as much as possible. Just really looking at getting connected into the community and to see what is going on!

Welcome, sounds like a good MINI to enjoy. Come out on Sept 22, if you can find time.

We have the fall colors run starting in Lafayette on 95th. See the and sign up on the Calendar.

The more MINIs the better.

I will be trying to make it to the run on the 22nd, but I have sprung a coolant leak! Looking like a radiator, or hose up in the front. Hopefully she will be up and running soon!

You going to fix it yourself or have a shop do it?

Unfortunately, I have to have a shop do it right now. Last semester at CSU, and school is more important right now.

No worries, I am also having them take a look at the passenger seat airbag sensor. It is going on and off, while driving. With the extended warranty for it, I might as well use my time wisely at the dealership.

Enjoy your drill weekend Dicks Garage

Guess I should add a picture. Many of you may recognize my (new to me) car from Prima Car Care. Photo credit goes to them as well, still have to get my own pictures.

You bought Nick's MINI, I am glad it stayed in Colorado. Well done! I can almost imagine it is well cared for on the paint and interior detailing.

Get the little details fixed, then many miles of happy motoring.

Howdy all, Purchased a red convertible three weeks ago. Took it in to get a scuttle fixed, and the wife purchased a Countryman. We are a two mini family. :-) Got them both in Loveland, but their home is in Wyoming. :-)

Since your in Wy, come back down to Windsor near MINI of Loveland. Look up Red Dog Signs & graphics on Google.

I have seen pictures of some of his work and I believe he did some work for MOL.

Try this Facebook link: http://www.facebook.com/RedDogSigns

Congratulations on the convertible and the Countryman.

Come down and play with the MINI5280 MINI Club, we do some drives up north at times. See http://mini5280.org

2010 JC dub Convertible

I just got myself a 2010 Crazy looking greenish yellow (interchange?) Softtop JCW. Always thought MINIs looked pretty cool and bought this little clown car for something cutesy and open to the sky. My other "Convertible" is a Harley Road King. Bought the JCW without even driving it because it looks real clean and just 20K miles. I cannot believe what a little monster the thing is. I had no idea that these cars were so scary fast. Maybe a MINI thing or a JCW thing not sure. Never even sat in a MINI before. Well I am hooked. I have owned a vast variety of vehicles in my 30 years of driving including sport bikes, Harleys, supercharged trucks, diesels, high end Japanese and German rides - you name it, I have had it. The MINI is the most fun rig on wheels I have ever experienced. Nothing else even compares - ear to ear grinning fun and I could not believe I was getting 34.8 mpg running near 90mph from C Springs to Fort Collins. Took it in to Loveland MINI for oil service and saw that Red Countryman S thingy - that badboy might just replace my wife's Infiniti G37x. Gonna run our little Bumble Bee up to Aspen this weekend - Valentine One detector on full blast. So MINI, where have you been all my life?

That was the best first post here on North American Motoring and I love your last line.

Have fun in the mountains.

Welcome, nice to see someone loving the interchange yellow, it is a really cool color.

Come out and take a drive with us, get the CM before the first snow, go ALL4, you will love it in the snow.

We have a little drive in the planning stages for November 3.

It's a mini thing. They can haul. Also my Harley Ultra Glide is getting lonely sitting in the Quonset. I'm not sure who is going to win for the weekend the Harley, or the mini. hummmm

Picked up my CMS this afternoon. I've dubbed him "Otto". Seemed a good choice for a car built in Austria.

Looking forward to taking him out and meeting you guys soon.
