New Colorado NAM members, please post HERE!
Deffenatly check with Peak Eurosport, Earnie, Chris, and their set of techs are top notch people.
I'm on 112th and Colorado, I will (Or have) probably seen you around. What color(s) is your car? If you are waved at by a guy in a black Jeep Cherokee forgive me... The MINI's broke and I still have a habit of waving at all of them that I see.

Is that for pads and rotors? I have over 55,000 miles on my R55 and haven't had to replace my rotors. For a full set of pads head on over to Autozone - it'll cost about $70.
I figured I'd better formally introduce myself if I was going to start hanging around more often. I don't have a MINI myself, but I've been lurking around NAM for several years now off and on. I'm an Audi/VW guy by trait, but I really want to get in a MINI sometime soon.
I've had 3 Audis, 4 VWs and the odd Mercury thrown in there (huge mistake on that one). I'm currently working at a web design/marketing firm doing front-end coding and marketing and I'm also working on a magazine project.
I started EuroBerge with Richard (Richard-EB) a couple of years back and I still do some work for EB every now and again.
Anyway, hope to be getting to some events and meeting people soon!

Come out to MINIs In The Mountains August 2-5 at Winter Park Resort. http://minisinthemountains.com/
Registration closes July 15th, two days and sixteen hours left.
I can't wait to see your future MINI.
Hi Everyone!!
My name is Moriah and I'm new to MINIs as I just bought my very first MINI on June 23rd! I'd been wanting a MINI for years and it finally worked out for me to get one! I wasn't too particular on the options but I knew I wanted a black or silver MINI so it took a while to find one that I liked but it was love at 1st sight!
Her name is Betty after the song Black Betty by Ram Jam ... don't blame me if the song gets stuck in your head! Bam-ba-lam!
She's a 2012 Cooper Convertible and she's all black ... even with black rims! Hence the name!
I'm not sure if I'll be doing any special modifications because I think she's awesome how she is.
I found Betty at MINI of Loveland and I have to say that the whole buying experience was great. We knew they had a black MINI so our intention was to drive up and maybe do a test drive but lo & behold! I bought my 1st MINI!
We live in Thornton but since I have so much fun driving around, I make excuses to go for drives! And just to warn you, I AM one of those MINI owners that waves at other MINIs!
We are already signed up for Minis in the Mountains and we're thinking of joining everyone in Longmont on Saturday. My husband and I went to Boulder for the Minis Take the States and we had a great time seeing all the other Minis so we're excited to join in more events.
Take care!

Welcome, Moriah....I'll be at the Longmont event Saturday...come by!
Hello
WHEN did you get your MINI (or Mini)?
2004 R53. Bought used in June.
WHAT is your MINI or Mini's name?
Stanley.
WHAT color or colors is your MINI?
Red w/ glass roof.
What options did you get on your MINI?
Number Plate Attachment Management.
WILL you be doing modifications to your MINI or Mini?
Added auxiliary audio input.
WHY did you get a MINI or Mini?
Don't know yet. Sure is fun though.
WHAT part of town will you be seen in?
I-25 Co/Sprgs to FoCo.
Stanley was somewhat neglected in his previous life and needs some work. I've done everything myself so far except mount and balance the one tire...
X Replace front brakes and rotors
X Flush brake fluid
X Convert to synthetic oil
X Replace air filter (Ooooo, was it bad)
X Replace mismatched rear tire
X Replace power steering fluid
X Replace wiper blades
X Fix dash rattle
Still do do...
- Alignment
- Replace low speed fan resistor (I think)
- Coolant Flush
- Fix drivers door window motor
- Fix drivers door door handle/unlock lock cable
- Replace jack points (all four are gone)
- Fix backup lights
- Repair holes in dashboard (cell phone mount)
- Passenger window chatter
- Replace cabin air filter
- Check/clear A/C drain tube
- Tint windows
Except for an alignment and window tinting, I should be able to manage the bottom section of the repair list on my own as well. NAM is an awesome source of info!

Welcome Tim, most of us were up tooling around MITM this past few days.
Looks like your MINI found a new friend who wants to make him/her new and fancy.
Congratulations on our adoption.

Feels like deja vu.
Bought a '12 JCW (just the aero bits and wheels) Clubman S from Schomp on August 5th.
Eclipse Grey, I believe...?
Undoubtedly, provided it stays reasonably reliable.
I needed a new daily driver and decided that it had to be good on gas, had to be at least somewhat engaging (while having an automatic transmission), and could be taken to High Plains Raceway a time or two. I considered a number cars: used 335i, new VW GTI, Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S... But I kept remembering how fun my 2007 Cooper S was in between trips to the Schomp service department. So here we are again.
Still living in Strasburg, still working in Denver.
Everything. All of it.
I've been a longstanding member/participant in local enthusiast communities for all of the cars that I've owned, but, regrettably, for the seven months I had my last MINI, I never got to hook up with MINI folks. I'd like to change that.
Here's the new Clubbie:

A couple more pics here and my other pride-and-joy has some pics here.
Thanks for the space. Hoping to get out and about and meet some of you soon; a bit bummed that I just missed MITM.

Hello All,
Colorado native here, but currently living in New Mexico, I plan to change that and move back to my home state.
WHEN did you get your MINI (or Mini)?
7/23/12
WHAT is your MINI or Mini's name?
Klaus
WHAT color or colors is your MINI?
High class grey
What options did you get on your MINI?
bluetooth
WILL you be doing modifications to your MINI or Mini?
Not sure
WHERE did you get your MINI or Mini? New? Used?
Sandia Mini
WHY did you get a MINI or Mini?
Always wanted a Mini since 2001, I am short girl who needs a car that I can see over the hood! Plus I hate filling up at the gas station, so a car that got good gas mileage was a plus in my book.
WHAT types of events would you likely be involved in? (choices are things like weeknight events, food rides, mountain rides, autocross, track days, weekend events, food only, tech talks, etc. Feel free to make up your own.)
when? and where? Can I dj an event!
WHAT can MINI5280 do for you?
and more.
I would like to meet some MINI owners and talk about our cars.

Welcome to the forum.
About once a month in the fall/winter we do a resteraunt meeting, so there will be plenty of opperitunitys to meet some of us before the spring/summer rides start back up next year.
It might just be me going out on a limb here but MITM needs some music at the parking garage. Once you get here and start coming to meetings, run the idea by us (I know I will forget) who knows what might happen.

Always nice to see some new folks coming back to Colorado.
Welcome, come to a few events, post some pictures of your MINI.
Never thought about having one of the events with a DJ, we shall see.
Let us know when you get back to Colorado.

I should be back in Colorado August 29th-Sept 3rd. I am coming back to celebrate my birthday (Aug 30th).
Anyone feel like flash mini mobbing one of the local Sonics? During that time? I am wanting a hot fudge sundae.

My name's Alec. I live and work in the S/SE 'burbs. Currently driving a Passat but that should be rectified soon.

- WHEN did you get your MINI (or Mini)?
Ordered a CMS4 last week. Currently scheduled for production in Week 36. - WHAT is your MINI or Mini's name?
Haven't settled on one yet. I figure I'll wait 'til we're better acquainted to come up with a name. If I had to choose one now, MAXIMUS seems appropriate given the Countryman's upsize dimensions. - WHAT color or colors is your MINI?
Pure Red w/Black roof/mirrors - What options did you get on your MINI?
- Tech package w/Nav
- Premium Package
- Cold Weather Package
- Flat load floor
- Bonnet stripes
- Sunroof
- WILL you be doing modifications to your MINI or Mini?
Probably not. I have enough expensive hobbies as it is.
- WHERE did you get your MINI or Mini? New? Used?
Ordered from Schomp - WHY did you get a MINI or Mini?
Nothing had that combination of AWD, performance and fuel economy. The back seat was big enough for my elderly mother-in-law and first grader. - WHAT part of town will you be seen in?
DTC & SE 'burbs - WHAT types of events would you likely be involved in?
Food rides and occasional mountain rides sound like fun
Welcome Alex.
You will love the CM, they are a fun MINI and very good in the mountains. Lots of good options, I envy the flat load floor option in the new CMs.
Come out and drive with us, we will have some winter time drives.

Hello, fellow MINI people
I got my MINI5280 membership pack in the mail this week, just before I traded in my my 2006 Cooper S on a 2013 ice blue Cooper S with a white top. It's been a good week.
The new car has the stripes and auto lights package (Premium?), the spiffy dual-vent sunroof and satellite radio. Plus, the ambient lighting has a disco function under which it will cycle through a rainbow of colours. It doesn't make it drive better, but it sure is soothing to watch.
I ordered mine through Schomp, and it will live with me in NW Denver, in Highland.
With any luck, I'll get to go on some of these drives with y'all.
Cheers!

Congrats on the new acquisition!
Hi, nice trade up, I think the ice blue is a great color, we have another member who has a fully modded ice blue MCS, it is a great MINI.
You just got the membership packet, should we add anything?
Have fun with your new MINI.
Aleclee, is your R60 on the boat yet?
