Im not a super Jack enthusiest but i did get the UJ valvstem covers, i just couldnt resist i guess. They do get a lot of comments when i go get my regular tire maintainence.

i thank you so much Mr Blimey. they match my roof fairly well i think.

 

My first UJ additions...I started with the center stack, and just added the door handle wraps today.

 

love the jack int! do you have pictures of the door handle wraps??? i am just wondering how they look compared to the actual handles made with the jack. (cause changing the handles...PITA...and never want to have to do that again!)

The first attached thumbnail shows the wraps installed- it's on the interior side of the door, between the door speaker & the padded part. There is also a shot in my gallery. If you'd like a better close up picture, just ask and I'll post it.

I do not have any UJ's on the outside, as of yet- I love your exterior handles!

Oooh, I LURVE union jack stuff! I really wish I could get some mirror covers in black/white/grey (not a big blue fan), but then I'd have to get ALL the other stuff the same way. A red/black/white/grey UJ MINI would absolutely make my life.

You can probably find mirror covers in black/white/gray if you look around. That combo is frequently called "blackjack". Have you thought about a red/white/black UJ for your mirrors? That combo would look good on a CR/W MINI.

I'm doing the UJ's in orange/chrome/black because red/white/blue does NOT look good on a Hot Orange cabrio. A lot of my stuff has been done by Aesthetic Creations and I'm very happy with their work. If you have an idea or two of what you want, contact him and see what he can work out for you.

Also, I sent you a PM with an option for your mirror covers.

 

i am not sure but i think the only "made" blackjack stuff out there so far is the roof and the ext. handles like i have. after that i wanted the mirrors and rearview but couldnt find one. That being said i am sure that since i decided to get carbon fiber ones...blackjack ones must be avail now

 

Yes, I've seen the blackjack mirror covers and they are pretty cool. Red/white/black would be ideal, though. as long as the red matched my car color. I will check out Aesthetic Creations and thanks for the PM.

I have the OEM mirror caps, and door handles..

They do not like the sun.. my psgr side door handle is faded, in less then a year, but the driver's is not as faded, as it gets the afternoon shade where I park...

they are also not soo much fun to install. it is a... time consuming and patient task. But I love the look of it.

 

Hi there: Been a while since I posted but had to chime in here as well. I have an '03 and have hand painted UJ mirror covers. Way back then, the plastic replacements were never heard of.

These "painted" covers came from MINI Mania and I sent them my cores. They then sent the cores off to a motorcycle painter. They are the exact color of my IB MINI. Of course you can tell they are handpainted as there is a tiny overspray on the underside of one of the caps but only I know that I hope! LOL MINI Mania told me I was the first to order the side mirror caps. They now sell the OEM ones that MINI has.

I have the UJ RVM cover from MINI and it is plasticky and doesn't really match the rest of the car but at least its on the inside. I have been thinking about the door handle UJ covers but again, they are too close to the side mirrors and one would notice the difference. Suppose I need to send the handles off to a graphics painter as well.

 

Well, not anymore.
