I'm looking for a union jack license plate but I want the blue part of the flag Electric Blue. Does anyone know where I can get a custom plate??

Aesthetic Creations can probably print you a vinyl one like that, then you can apply to any old flat license plate...

Well, time to resurrect an old thread. I'm surprised BlimeyCabrio has let it go sooooo long with reviving it.

I have the visor decals (orange MINI logo on black background) from Aesthetic Creations and like the look of them, but noticed that when I put the visor down, the other side was, well, plain. It's not as easy to put a decal there since there is the small mirror on that side.

Before:

I did a little thinking, then contacted Mike at Aesthetic Creations and told him my idea. He gave me some pointers, then printed up these awesome modified UJ's that continue my orange/chrome/black theme. With a little modifying, here is the final product:

I have two more UJ's to add, but I'm waiting on things to slow down after a major ice storm before I keep Gromit out from under his car cover. Right now there are too many broken limbs hanging in the trees for me to feel comfortable leaving him uncovered very long.

Love it, Mike. I have Hellbender and Dragon stickers on my mirror covers.

I have some new UJ stuff... but am waiting for one finishing touch before I do an update with new photos... a custom piece I've been waiting for three months now... hopefully just a few more weeks...

Mike cooked up something custom for me a while back that I'm waiting to show off... but the big thing I'm working on is something he doesn't do...

I can't wait to see it, Paul. I really wanted to wait until I got my last UJ's on, but with the lousy weather and work, it just isn't happening. I'm hoping to have time later this week to get them installed.

Lancs, who did the install of that roof ? Must have been a real bear, given the lines in a clubman roof.

Looks great !

We finally had decent weather today so I installed the latest Union Jacks on Gromit.

Here's his new Inner Door Accent decals from Aesthetic Creations:

(Please excuse my reflection in the chrome. )

Very nice, Mike !

I wanted Santa to bring me some of those checkered decals for Christmas but she (my other half) got the door handle decals instead (oops).

Gotta get around to buying a set for my CR Cooper.

And hey, I like your shirt... where did you get that ??

It's a souvenir from a MINI Poker Run.

I'm thinking about getting the door handle decals, but I'm not sure if I want another UJ or a different design. Are yours holding up well?

Yeah, they're holding up GREAT. Because I didn't install them ! Don't plan to, either. I don't want too many checkers inside... I think the door panel pocket cover (or whatever that thing is called) would be plenty, along with the stuff I already have.

So, you won those playing Texas Hold'em ?

Uh, no. I can't win anything playing Poker. I even bought some extra card chances on the Poker Run and still lost! It's easier to just pay Mike at AC.

I can see where having the door handles and the pocket decals (FYI they're called Inner Door Accent Decals) would be a lot of checkers. I saw a checkered dash one time. Looked neat, but it would mess with your mind if you looked at it very long.
