Here is the Union Jack I wear when I am driving my R52S. Does it count?

Directed at no-one in particular, it just makes me tic a little bit when I see UJ's upside down, just like it would for any American if they saw someone Old Glory upside down.

An upside down flag is meant to be flown as a sign of distress, and it always gets my attention.

I can guarantee that, if it's attached to my car, a Union Jack is in distress.

Ask anyone who has ridden with me.

jk

Good point - and point taken.

LOL - that's funny

The only one I've seen wrong way up on Blimey is on the back of the headrest, on the passengers side - and I think tha'ts because the manufacturer made them mirror-images of each other (it's the same way on that burnt-orange version in this thread, around page 5 or so)

A lot of the rearview mirror caps I see are upside down :(

Love your Blimey, Paul

It's a darned shame how many pics don't show up anymore in this old thread.

See my post #396 about the side mirrors. If the door is the flag pole. The pass. side mirror is flying upside down or is attached to the wrong end of the flag. But I don't know how else you would do it. Have the mirrors a mirror image of each other?

Interesting point! I went out to Llanrhaeadr to take a look, and with the picture in post 406 as a reference, the driver side scuttle depicts the upper right corner of the Union Jack (with the narrow white band up), and the passenger side scuttle depicts the upper left corner of the Union Jack (with the wide white band up).

Perhaps it's a model year difference, or the graphic designers made a correction?

I have: Union Jack mirror cover, Union Jack side scuttles, Union Jack valve caps, Union Jack Driving light covers and am about to remove my side scuttles and go back to stock as I have purchased Union Jack fender wrap. I also have Union Jack background racing numbers for autocross.
