2016 F55 order and tracking

I ordered a new electric blue F55 (white bonnet stripes with Union Jack roof) justa on September 5. The tracking says it's "scheduled for Production" and my dealer says it should be arriving in 4-5 long weeks. I can't wait!
Anyone else order a 2016 F55?

I ordered an F55 on August 21st. It completed production on September 3rd and arrived at the port that evening. It then sat there from September 4th until September 14th, which kind of annoyed me. It is currently in the Atlantic Ocean and scheduled for arrival on Friday at Baltimore. I'm hoping to have it Saturday or Sunday.

Packages: premium, sport, media, automatic transmission (I should've just done the fully loaded package)
Exterior: blazing red, matching roof and mirrors, black bonnet stripes, black 16" victory spoke, LED fog lights
Interior: red trim line (I'm regretting not doing the anthracite headliner and piano black dash)

Am I correct in understanding that the alarm system is not just an improvement to a base, but the only alarm system, so without it, the car has no alarm?

Without the alarm option, your car will have an immobilizer, like most other cars these days where the car cannot be started without a unique code stored in the key.

There will not be a siren and hence, no motion/tilt sensors, or door/windows sensors.

It's not going to be until next week, my MA says, because it takes days to get through customs in Baltimore and they're unlikely to do that on the weekend.

Dammit.

Yes, I'm at that point. I've visited the dealership a couple of times just to look at MINIs, lol.

Mine is actually in the same vessel. Placed my order on 7th Sep. I'll probably have to wait a couple more days to get it here in northern california, but I am hoping I have it by the end of the month. we got the electric blue too

I wonder how long they will be at distribution center before they send them out. Hopefully not too long, I can't wait. Electric blue is stunning IMHO :-)

Ours was at VDC in Baltimore from Friday to Wednesday. Maybe weekend lengthened the time because of reduced staff?
