Welcome to NAM, welcome to MINI, and congrats on your JCW 6MT order

Looks like a comprehensive configuration. What color roof and wheels did you spec with the Black body?

Thanks! I just got the 17" Track spokes in silver (no cost option) because I plan on doing some aftermarket 18's as soon as I can figure out what fits with those big front brakes. The roof is body colored. Have plans to do I really different stripping package as I will be using the car to promote my business.

Update! It just made it to this side of the pond! Landed in Nova Scotia...I think this is the only time I've wished I lived further east.

I ordered my first MINI in 2004. It was a fun process. I have bought my last three off the lot (two used) and you just don't get everything you want. Great build. I know you're excited.

Congratulations,
Tommy

Staying Red though huh? Looks great, but must have been hard to let the C7 go. You'll probably get better gas mileage though...LOL! (Maybe)

Yes, Lola was a lot of the best America builds. I can't say anything bad whatsoever other than it was about $2K to put on a new set of tires at 22,000 miles. 0-60 was about two blinks of the eye tho

1% High Octane LoL

Garage was designed for the C7 so I was able to order the JCW to match

Yeah but my question is did you have a great time on the 2014 National Corvette Caravan? I happen to be the 2019 National Chairman, and if you like driving events, check out MINI takes the States. Best of luck with the new JCW.

I took Lola to two Bash events, two Vette4Vet's events, and the National Caravan. Leaving the early morning staging event through GA with the FL contingent, we had over a hundred cars strong held together for awhile with help from the GA Highway Patrol at some decent speeds in our own lane. When we got into TN though we lost our H/P help and the eye candy parade got peppered with pickup trucks, VW's and the like.

I'd been on a few events leaving Bowling Green with the KY H/P escorting that would usually start the drivers meeting with a challenge from the H/P to try and keep up . They were really proud of being host to the state that made the Vett's.

Will definitely plan to start the MiNi takes the States drive. Not sure yet if I'll be able to do the whole trip, my co-pilot/driver say's her schedule may not let her be gone that long.
