Abs light issue

Has anyone any advice re my 2003 R50 . I have both ABS & Tyre pressure lights intermittently coming on when starting so far I’ve had New ABS pump all correctly coded , new battery , all wiring loom rewired by ABS pump all voltage tested on all the wires up to and from ABS pump and all ok plus new wheel speed sensor and the lights are still coming on so I don’t know if it’s wires further down on the dash or an electrical glitch somewhere . Does anyone have any suggestions?

You need to read the codes. I got a foxwell 510 ( back in 2021 ). OBD readers won’t give you these errors. Mine was the left front bearing @ 149k. He was going bad, and ruined the wheel speed sensor. I replaced both, and all has been good. A good reader will tell you what the problem is.

Try swapping the wheel sensors (left to right and vice versa) and see if the problem moves. You wouldn't be the only person to install a new (but damaged) wheel sensor.

That or use your code scanner to read out live data on each individual wheel speed. The one thats odd is your issue.

I found that either the quality of parts is going down or Minis are a bit specific about the resistance in the wheel speed sensors. I bought one new and couldn't get it to work. Tried another brand and it was fine. Also check if the pins on the plug are not corroded (increases resistance)
