Wont start, got fuel pressure and spark

I have a 2010 Mini Cooper S with 90K miles with an automatice that cranks but won't fire up. There are no engine codes. It has spark to the plugs and I used my Foxwell scanner to confirm the high pressure fuel at the rail is adequate at 5.17 MPA. I replaced the crank position sensor and cam position sensor on the valve cover, but improvement. I check the fuses and didn't detect any issues. The relays do not fit on my relay testers, so I'm at the loss of what to try next. Any suggestions? I'd really like to avoid having it towed to the Mini dealership.

Does the engine start if you spray starting fluid into the intake?

Have you checked the engine mechanical timing?

Tried starting fluid with no results. I will see if I can figure out how to check the mechanical timing without having to tear into it too much. Thanks.

How many miles on the odometer and the timing chain?

You need a special tool to check the mechanical timing. If the timing is good, then compression test the cylinders.

Is the coolant temperature sensor reporting realistic readings?

What was the condition of the spark plugs when you removed them?

The odometer and timing chain has 90K miles. I installed NGK iridium plugs about 8K miles ago. I pulled them last Satruday and they had a little bit a scaling on the ground electrode, but otherwise looked okay. With the plugs out, I tried to check compression but I couldn't get what appeared to be the correct threaded adapter to thread into the sparkplug hole. I was afraid of crossthreading the sparkplug hole and gave up and put the plugs back in. Operating tempeture when running a couple weeks ago was not abnormal, around 210 degrees. Should I bite the bullet and have it towed to the dealership?

AutoZone may have a free rental compression tester with adapters. Worth looking into.

The
special tool to check the mechanical timing special tool to check the mechanical timing
costs $35.
