Thanks! I am a fan of the blackjack

So I can't even tell by looking at the picture really what is the centercap...it looks like it's just all one piece. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

The actual center cap you order from AC is a circular domed decal (decal with a clear domed top layer) that fits over the center of your wheel. In the picture I posted, the new cap covers just the black circle that says "MINI" on my wheels(and I think I have the same wheels you do). All you are ordering is a decal, not any part of the wheel assembly.

All you do is stick the decal over the center of your wheel and press it into place. If the center is slightly curved, you can heat the decal with a hairdryer to help it form to the curve.

As I'm originally a Brit, I'm a little more restrained about this. Both MINIs have a Union Jack plate frame, that's been it up to now. However, we're thinking of getting a silver jack for Shawn's roof. Actually we more or less decided to go with the silver jack when we decided on a black roof, all the others had been white.

Hi guy's (& fellow UJers), greetings from across the pond

I posted these pics in the 'Show us your stripes' thread but any excuse to post them up again . I got this roof decal done over here by our vinyl maestro at www.minipirate.co.uk. It's slightly different to the one offered by our dealers, & the guy's at Mini Pirate can customise the Union Jack as well (Silver, etc.).

Hope you like it

That is a great decal...

I had a custom one done too... The thing about the one from teh CDN dealers is that all the colours are different pieces and you have to build it like a puzzle... the way you did it, and the way mine is. it is one piece printed.

I have a sunroof and they used contra-vison so I can still see out... a tad more $$$, but worth it in my eyes.. and that is all that matters right... :P

Finally have pics of my Union Jack! Custom upholstered rear deck lid.

Oh Oh... I totally forgot about the Jack on my reverse lamp. Can't see at all but it looks cool. I want to get that one redone to actually function though.

Makes me wish I actually used the back cover! Looks great.

But I really love that reverse lamp cover! Where did you get it?
Could it actually be made to be functional as a light? I have an '04, and that's my only reverse light, so I need it (I think)

That is awesome... was thinking how do that myself... how you could cover it anyways... I have some other ideas for UJ's on the car.. just working on the logistics of them.

what is that on your reverse light? is that cover or a gel cover so light shines through?

The reverse light has a sticker on it. You can't really see at all with it, but today I am going to see about making one that has nothing for the white of the flag for light to shine through. Hopefully that will help.

As for the cover, I took it to an upholstery shop and had them do it. It wasn't easy and it took the guy two attempts to get it right.

It's not quite as cool as a Union Jack boot cover, but I like it, and that has to count for something, right?

Wow... ya'll have some of the coolest Union Jack stuff... I wanna join!!! lol. My Jude will be here in a couple weeks... so i'll post pics then...
but so far he will have..
UJ roof graphic
UJ Side mirrors
UJ rearview mirror
UJ side scuttles

I plan on getting UJ Valve stem covers, wheel center caps, the console stack I saw at cooper flags, rather then take off the warning label on the visor - I may just cover it with UJ Decals...

I also have a Sex Pistols "God Save the Queen" shirt with a UJ background - I want to get that sewn into a seat cover. I also have a Tinkerbell with UJ background t-shirt that might work also.
Also have a UJ Who decal for the window.

And to hang from the rearview mirror - a UJ guitar keychain.

I'm kind of a British rock nerd... hehehe

Now need to decide if I should spend the cash on the UJ Boot Box....

I've got the Nike Union Jack shoes, but I would love these:
Anybody know where we can buy them in the US? (perhaps we should organize a group buy!)

I'd wear those. With the automatic, heel/toe is not a problem for me.

Blimey,

If I can find a pair, I'll bring 'em to MODT 2010 for you to wear at the welcome dinner. What size should I get?
